Christian Leadership Movement have noted with interest the voting process that took place in our country a week ago and we commend the fairness that was displayed by all the participating parties.
South Africa's democracy is thriving and maturing. The results on their own highlighted the need for a change in Leadership especially in Metro Munucipalities.
Fact that a coalition government is looming is quiet interesting. The Economic Freedom Fighters has positioned themselves in such a way that they can dictate who runs metros going forward.whether they will go with the ruling party or the official opposition is yet to be seen, this however might also weaken their support base in terms of their electorate come 2019 general elections.
We are currently working towards an improved version of a government of national unity as Christian Leadership Movement of South Africa and our first election candidacy will be conducted in 2019.
We have a strategic plan to bring Christians into the forefront of our socio-economic and political participation come 2019 and "We Believe" a government that is led by Godly principles is what our country needs to move forward.
Thanks to South Africans who came out to cast their votes,we wish our Team SA good luck in Rio Olympics, and we encourage the citizenry to continue asking themselves this question.."What am i contributing in bettering my country"..God bless you and may we continue doing our best to benefit those around us.
