GOD CORRECTS THOSE THAT HE LOVES, THE WORD OF GOD DEMANDS LEADERS TO EXERCISE CORRECTION WITH LOVE TO MOTIVATE NOT TO DESTROY.

Leaders MUST mirror divine forbearance by granting space for confession and change, yet without dismissing holy standards.

GOD IS NOT MOCKED. If one hates correction, there is tolerance for destruction and hardness of heart toward sin. God being slow to anger and demanding that man must repent, His riches of His goodness, kindness and mercy leads us to repentance. That’s a demonstration of love towards mankind, because the same riches of kindness is on the person of the Lord who took our place, he became our propitiation.

God’s wrath is not towards mankind but their wickedness. Jesus was slow to anger but directed man towards the truth about sin. Grace exercises forbearance and Truth set the plumb line for righteousness and holiness.
