DO YOU DELIGHT IN THE WORD?
-Prophet LT Mochocho

[READ]
(Psalm 1:2-3)
"....but whose delight is in the law of the Lord; and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers."
•God wants us to position ourselves where we'll be able to find him. Now! Meditation(Committing God's word not only to memory; but to heart!) helps us to do that. -Reading the word of God and being consistent requires serious discipline!
The bible says this person is planted! Meaning something must get(be planted) into you; by the studying the word you are allowing yourself to look attractive in Gods sight. Your focus must be on seeking the Lord and attracting Him into your life; thats how we access God!
The person the bible talks about in this passage can easily be you at any given time; it says "They will be prosperous in whatever they do"
-That could be you!
-Just imagine! Being prosperous in every single thing you do; everything!
-How is this person different from many of us? He allows the word to pe*****te every part of their being; He doesn't move until the Spirit says so.
• The mistake we make is this; we attempt to do God's business without the word he's given to us.
-The bible says "Your word is a lamp unto my feet"[Psl119v105]
As a Christian today ; what is leading your feet; is it really his word leading the decisions you keep making?
•God's word starts to lead us when we delight in it [Ps1v2]
-How many of us gets pleasure in spending time in his word? Are you giving His word a special time? Do you really love and enjoy His word?
Then why do you always choose social media; friends and TV over the studying of the word?
This is a sign that you do not delight in the word!
• Someone who delights in the God studies His word ; meditates on it then practices it! Thats how you bring God closer to you. If you
find pleasure in something; by all means necessary..you give it time!
• You're physically in church but you're mind is very far from here.
-When we come to church; we come with the purpose of being clothed by power!
-Your problem as a believer is that you dont want God to control you!
Just imagine doing things by heavenly speed; when the Spirit stops you stop; when He starts you start!
-As a believer you need to stretch; you can't be praying 10 minutes and you're comfortable; Be ashamed!
I will stretch you; allow the Spirit to stretch you! Push!
To God be the Glory!
