What are the benifits of prayer and what are the reprocautions of not praying?

There are homeless people who pray everyday and billionaires who never even prayed once in their lives , there are interview jobs offered to those who never prayed and those who prayed were rejected, there are sicknesses that killed those who prayed and same sickness was healed from those who never prayed, PRAYER WORKS BUT DOES NOT SUSPEND THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD, our tears cannot twist His arm.

Whats the purpose of prayer if its not to ask and recieve whatever we want from God?

BENIFITS OF PRAYING

-Prayer helps us to have a spiritual connection and build a relationship with God
-Prayer avails answers of God's will for specific situations
-Prayer builsds our faith amist a temporal, material world that's governed by site
-Prayer solves spiritual problems that natural solutions such as money, guns and doctors cannot solve
-Prayer helps us not to be victims of false prophets, false churches, false religions and false gods

NON-BENIFITS OF NOT PRAYING

-Basically the opposite of advantages stated above
-Not praying may cause spiritail deafness and blindness
-Not praying regularly might not take away salvation but diminishes our proximity to God
-Not praying feeds the flesh and starves our spirits
-Not praying spiritually weakens us
