and witness) to the people [that you are
really healed].

Although celebrating, we should not forget that He suffered a great deal for us to obtain salvation. He bought us with a higher price! He was pierced for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.
