It was established by the divine leading of the Holy Spirit to fulfil an array of mandate. Foremost among which is the desire to transform human lives through the gospel of Jesus Christ and to depopulate the kingdom of darkness through p
ersistent evangelism, crusades and all other forms of outreach programmes. This assignment is anchored on the injunction of the Great Commission with specific focus on Mark 16:15 which directs that we should “go into the entire world and preach the gospel to every creature”. Such a task can only be accomplished by the adoption of multiplicity of strategies, processes and methodologies in order to make it effective and rewarding. Don’t let us be deceived, there are still millions of people spread across the face of the earth who have not either heard about the gospel of Jesus Christ or who have heard but are yet to actually surrender their lives to the King of kings. God says that He does not want the death of the sinners but for the sinners to repent so as to be saved There is no way they could either repent or take absolute decision to accept Christ’s salvation unless we continue to preach and spread the gospel to all the nooks and crannies of the world. Without being immodest, this is not an assignment any single church, the world over can accomplish, notwithstanding how populated the congregation of such a church might be. We thank God, there is no church in heaven, therefore, we should see this assignment as a combined effort of all genuine and living churches, to work earnestly to achieve the mandate that Jesus Christ gave to us all, as His disciples and ambassadors on earth .
