INVITATION : KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION
Dear devotees .....
Tuesday, 15 August 2017 marks the final day of Gita Week and culminates in the Janmashtami celebration.
An invitation is extended to all devotees to join us in the celebration :
Session 1 :
- Program begins at 6.30pm at the temple with officiating priest Pt. Misra
- Bhajans will be rendered by Prema Jyothi Seva Sangam
- We will conclude with Hawan and the Makhan ritual
- Supper will then be served
Session 2:
The program will continue until 12am (midnight) and we encourage devotees to remain with us if possible
Pt Misra will render discourses, bhajans and chanting during the second session.
We will conclude the program at midnight when we chant and celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna adorned in his fine attire and seated in his 'cradle'.
As per tradition, we will cut a cake at midnight to end the festivities.
