Morning Devotion

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says”. Mark 11:23

Too many people think of the Bible only as a Holy book to be respected. They put it up on a shelf to make sure it is safe. I agree that we must treat the Bible with respect, but the Bible is also the living Word, and a message from God. It's time to read it, and act on its instructions. The one thing we don’t do is talk to mountains. The devil wants you to think that it is crazy to talk to things. But it's not. Jesus did it. He talked to sickness. He talked to the storm and told it to be still. He talked to dead bodies & told them to get up. He talked to trees & they dried up. And He talked to the devil & told him to get behind him. Jesus talked to things. And you & I should do it too. You should talk to fear and worry. You should talk to confusion. You should talk to lack. You should talk to sickness. You should talk to the devil. Tell them to leave. Tell them to "be removed from your home and family."
A Blessed Weekend to everyone

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. Luke 10:19

Jesus spoke directly to the devil -- and so must you & me. We need to Tell Satan where to go. Many Christians think they should pray about the devil & ask God to deliver them from his attacks. But the Bible is clear -- God has given the authority to believers to resist the devil. You must control how far the devil comes to your life before he controls you! Unless you exercise the authority delegated to you by Jesus Christ, the devil will cause havoc in your life, and everywhere he is allowed to. Praying to God to stop the devil's operations is like my son telling me to take out the trash, after I have told him to do it. God told us to resist the devil & he would flee. We must believe & act on God's Word. James 4:7 says, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you”. Do you think God would tell us to resist the devil if we had no delegated authority? If the devil have control in our lives, it's because we allowed it. But when we submit to God in Christ Jesus, the devil must back off when we resist him & his works. Resist him today & he will flee from you. Blessings to you. 😇🙏

“See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared” Exodus 23:20

Every time we are faced with a decision, we concern ourselves with whether God is going to respond favorably or not. I remember waiting on the Lord for for weeks for specific direction & approval to relocate. After some time, I sensed His immediate reassurance: “I will guide you in the way you should go.” God often speaks through His Word – the more we know His Word, the more we recognize His voice. God loves you, and He desires to walk any journey with you. For Moses God promised an angel, for you and I it can just be His Word. As my wife and I considered God's call to Mt Moriah - Port Shepstone. My mind wrestled with the uncertainties of building a life with a new congregation. In my thoughts, while driving, I poured out my concerns to God. Then, His reassurance came again, "I will guide you in the way you should go." Just His Word - (Psalms 32:8). And that was all the peace I needed to leave my comfort zone in my hometown of Stanger. I believed that God was going to guide us even in difficult times. I didn't know how He was going to do it, but i knew God will do it. And how assuring it is to know that the One who sees the end from the beginning also loves us unconditionally. Trust God with your concerns, and leave it to Him to do what ever He wills.
Blessings to you 🙌 😇

“Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.” Psalm 18:2

David calls the Lord his rock, fortress, deliverer, shield, salvation, and high tower. These are not poetic words, but testimonies of a man who had faced enemies, dangers, betrayals, and countless trials through God’s faithful protection. Our confidence is not just in blessings, resources, or favorable circumstances, but in the Lord Himself. And we as children of God today can share the same confidence. Even though our struggles may differ from David’s struggles, the God who sustained David remains the same. When our fears arise, when uncertainty surrounds us, and when challenges seem overwhelming, we can run to the Lord as our refuge & strength. Therefore, Instead of focusing on the size of your problem today, focus on the greatness of your God. He is more than able to to carry you. Blessings to you 🙌🙏

“He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.” Isaiah 40:29

Isaiah 40:29 speaks directly to moments of exhaustion— God does not offer help only to the strong; He gives power to the weak. This is when strength is gone and effort feels empty. This is a reversal of how we often think. We tend to believe we must have something to offer, some strength to contribute. But God meets us precisely where we lack. We do not need to pretend we are strong or hold everything together. We can come to God just as we are—tired, burdened, and empty, and God gives what is needed to endure, and to trust Him through every season. When you feel drained or overwhelmed, stop relying on your own strength. Turn to God in prayer & acknowledge your needs. Trust Him to provide the strength you lack for today. Blessings to you 🙌😇

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21

Writing from prison and uncertain whether he would live or die, Paul reveals the perspective that shaped his entire life: “to live is Christ.” For Paul, life was not cantered hon comfort, success, reputation, or personal ambition. Christ was the purpose of his living. Every breath, every opportunity, and every hardship became a means of honoring and serving the Lord. Then Paul says something even more striking: “to die is gain.” Because of Christ’s resurrection and the promise of eternal life, death was not the ultimate loss for the believer. It meant being with Christ forever. This did not make Paul careless about life, but it freed him from fear. This verse challenges us to examine what truly defines our lives. What do we live for? What captures our hearts and priorities? Only Christ gives life lasting meaning & eternal hope. Ask yourself honestly what drives your decisions, priorities, and goals. Seek to make Christ the canter of your daily life, trusting Him not only for eternity, but for every day moment right now. Blessings to you 🙏😇

Morning Devotion

“You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance.” Psalm 32:7

This is a psalm of confession, forgiveness, and restored fellowship with God. After experiencing the burden of unconfessed sin and the relief of God’s forgiveness, David speaks these comforting words: “You are my hiding place.” God is not merely a distant protector—He is a personal refuge. A hiding place is somewhere secure, sheltered, and safe from danger. David knew that true safety was not found in circumstances or human strength, but in the presence of the Lord. Notice the promise: “You will preserve me from trouble.” Even in seasons of fear, guilt, or uncertainty, the Lord surrounds His children with His care. When fear, stress, or spiritual struggle weighs on you, run to God as your refuge. Spend time in prayer and His Word, remembering that true security is found in His presence, not in changing circumstances. Blessings to you🙏😇

"As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me.
Psalms 55:16

David wrote this in a time of deep distress. David faced betrayal, fear, and great pressure from those around him. Yet in the middle of that turmoil, he makes a firm declaration: “As for me, I will call on God.” While others may panic, scheme, or give in to despair, David chooses to turn to the Lord. This verse reminds us that prayer is not merely a last resort—but it is the believer’s first response. Calling on God is an expression of dependence and trust. David knew he could not carry his burdens alone, so he brought them to the One who was able to save. Notice the confidence in David as he says, “Yahweh will save me.” David’s assurance was rooted not in his trials, but in God’s faithfulness. Even when situations seemed unstable, the Lord remained trustworthy. Believers today face different pressures, but the same invitation remains. God hears the cries of His people. We are never abandoned in our distress, and we are not praying to a distant or uncaring God. When anxiety, betrayal & sadness weighs on your heart, choose to call on God who cares for us. Blessings to you 🙌🙏

"The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe". Proverbs 18:10

In ancient times, a strong tower was a place of refuge during danger or attack. People would run inside its walls for safety because it was strong and secure. Solomon uses this image to describe the name of the Lord. In Scripture, God’s “Name” represents His character—His power, faithfulness, holiness, and unchanging nature. The believer’s safety is not found in personal strength, wealth, or human solutions, but in who God is. When fear, trouble, or temptation comes, the righteous “run to Him.” Solomon says "Run", meaning that God is the only source of comfort & refuge in difficult times, and the Christian life is marked by dependence on God, not self-reliance. God does not promise a life free of trouble, but He does promise security in the midst of trouble. Those who trust in the Lord are held securely by Him, no matter what circumstances may come. When anxiety, fear, or pressure rises, make it your first response to rest in His promise & remember that true security is found in Him alone.
Blessings to you 🙌😇🙏

Morning Devotion

"I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope." Psalm 130:5

As you seek God in your life as a Christian, there will always be silence between prayers & answers. you've prayed, fasted, and sought God’s direction—but there’s no answer. No breakthrough. No clarity. Just... waiting. There will be hints here or there, but they won't be clarity. But at that very moment, three are being built in you, character, patience & maturity. At times it may feel like you've been put on a silent spiritual hold with no background music but dead silence. However, it is in these “waiting rooms” of life that our faith is tested, refined, and matured. God is never early or late, but always on time. His delays are not denials; they are often developments in disguise. The question is, what do you do while you wait? David waited over a decade to wear the crown. He waited. Some of us, the moment some prophet speaks into our lives, we are already thinking about how we can get another persons out of the way. No waiting. The danger is not in what you do while you wait, but in who you become while you wait. Waiting has a way of revealing the motives, pride, and fears we didn’t know were there. Dr A.W. Tozer, says, “God is never in the hurry. There are no deadlines against what God must do. And for us to know this, we need to quiet our spirits and relax our nerves.” Therefore, Wait On The Lord!

Blessings to you 🙏😇
