Many people carry unhealed wounds from past heartbreak, rejection, betrayal, or shame into new relationships. When we leave those wounds untreated, we risk bleeding on people who didn't cut us.
We end up reacting out of fear, keeping people at a distance, comparing new relationships to past hurt, or repeating unhealthy patterns.
God doesn't want you to carry the baggage of past disappointment into your present or future. True freedom begins when you invite Jesus into the painful places you've tried to hide or ignore.
Healing takes time and honesty, but grace is strong enough to erase shame, break bitterness, and restore your ability to trust safely again.
Prayer
"Lord, heal the places in me that I have allowed past relationships or mistakes to wound. I bring my heartbreak, rejection, and shame to You. Free my heart from bitterness, fear of intimacy, and comparison. Cleanse my past and grant me the grace to walk in complete freedom and wholeness. Amen."
