✝️ WHAT KIND OF CHRISTIAN AM I? ❤️

In Sunday’s homily, Fr. Eldridge invited us to look beyond simply calling ourselves Christians and to honestly examine what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

Following Jesus is not a once-off event it is a lifelong journey. Each day, we are called to choose Him again, renew ourselves, and remain committed to walking in His ways.

The journey will not always be easy. There will be crosses to carry, sacrifices to make, and moments that challenge our faith. Yet, Christ calls us to persevere and continue following Him.

So today, let us ask ourselves:

What kind of Christian am I?
Am I choosing Christ daily?
Am I willing to carry my cross?
Does my life reflect the faith I profess?

May we have the courage to examine ourselves truthfully, the grace to renew our commitment daily, and the strength to carry our crosses with Christ.

“Take up your cross and follow me.” ✝️

🙏🏽 Lord, give us the grace to choose You each day and to faithfully follow You throughout our journey.

A Called Servant 🙏✨

As a Parish we had a beautiful privilege of travelling to King William's Town to witness the Priestly Ordination of Fr. James Qeqe.

It was a truly grace-filled day as we celebrated his "yes" to God's call and witnessed him being entrusted with the sacred sacrament of priesthood.

Fr. James, may your priesthood be filled with grace, courage, humility and love, and may you continue to feed God's sheep with the Word, the Sacraments and the love of Christ.
