“DO NOT JUDGE”!!
We hear this everyday don't we? The minute you try to compare someone's practice/certain doctrine or traditions to the word of God, you hear it. Do not Judge, touch not mine anointed.
"But what you are doing is not right" you get told who are you to Judge?
I have said it before and may I say it again, we can never form a doctrine out of one verse in the Bible. In that case we can make a doctrine out of anything., the whole Bible needs to be taken HOLISTICALLY in order to formulate doctrine. I can't find a scripture where God tells Moses to remove his shoes, and I make a doctrine out of that., and I say, each time we enter the presence of God we need to walk bare feet, then we have people taking off their shoes before they enter church, will that be a sound doctrine? Of course not.
The ENTIRE scripture needs to be a continuation of itself because It was written by ONE Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit does not suffer multi personality disorder, He is not bi-polar, therefore in formulating a doctrine such as "Do not judge" we have to look at the entire scripture and hear what it says.
Having said that, let us now let the Bible speak for itself.
DO NOT JUDGE
Now, Let us turn to our Bibles and see where these words come from.
Matthew 7 (KJV)
7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
So this verse is very clear that Jesus says we should not Judge so let us read the same Chapter but verse 15 as Jesus expounds more on "Judge not".
Matthew 7: 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
So wait a minute, the same Jesus that said in verse 1, we should not Judge, why does he tell us of false prophets in verse 15, and how we should know (Identitfy) them. He says, they come in Sheep’s clothing but
