From a generous Mandela Day gesture by Spar, where 2500 pairs of Spar/Bata children's shoes were donated to the FH Leva Foundation, to an inspiring transformation across our city. These shoes have found their way to various organizations, bringing smiles to young faces.

👣 The heartwarming pictures we've received show school kids trading in their old slippers, their loyal companions on the walk to school, for brand new leather Bata school shoes 👞.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible sponsors and our amazing congregation who've made this possible. 🙏 Your support has impacted lives and ignited hope.

🤝 If you're interested in joining hands with us, there's room for everyone to contribute. Contact us at [email protected] to find out more.

Together, let's keep spreading the love and making our city a better place, step by step. ❤️👟

🌍✨ Celebrating Mandela Day 2023! 🎉 Tangible Africa hosted their Mandela Day Coding Tournament, with our Love Your City team on-site, providing assistance and spreading the spirit of learning and collaboration.

🎮💡 Tangible Africa's unique approach involves using mobile games and puzzles to introduce coding concepts without the need for computers. It's inspiring to witness the positive impact of such innovative methods.

📅 Back in 2018, Tangible held its very first Coding Tournament, with 30 learners participating. Today, we are thrilled to share that this event has grown exponentially, reaching a staggering milestone of hosting 10,000 learners across multiple locations.

🙌🌟 We couldn't be prouder of their achievement and the support they've received from the community. We are already eagerly looking forward to the next tournament!

FOUNDATION VOUCHER 2021

It's Christmas season and there are two ways in which you can get involved with the FH Foundation this December🎄.

We're inviting you to purchase a food voucher to the value of R150.00 that'll be donated to NPO's we've selected to partner with in assisting them in their feeding projects.

These are incredible organisations that are really making a difference in the lives of so many.

Simply visit www.fathershousesa.org and purchase an online food voucher.

Another way you can get involved is by joining the Foundation volunteer team after the 8:30 service on Sunday, 19 December in putting together small gifts that we're donating to the EP Children's Home.

For more information, email us at [email protected].

TANKS & BOATS CODING PROJECT 🙌🏼

Through a phenomenal partnership between Leva Foundation and Prof Jean Greyling, founder of Games Powered By Tangible, our team put together 200 coding packs that are used by scholars nationwide.

Prof Greyling’s vision behind this project is to ensure that we bring hope to learners across our country by expanding their career horizons.

The TANKS programme has also been selected as one of the top 10 winners in the ‘Future Learning’ at Falling Walls Foundation which is a unique global hub connecting science, business and society.

Here’s a look at some of our favourite moments putting these packs together ❤️

COFFEE4HEROES ❤️

This past Saturday our Red Band Academy team joined the crew from Project Flamingo for what is known as ‘Surgery Day’ at Livingstone Hospital, Gqeberha 🎉

Project Flamingo is aimed at providing breast cancer surgeries for women in need and unable to afford the costs that comes with the operation.
The medical team selects one Saturday each month to perform these surgeries.

The Red Band team ensured that the medical staff were fuelled with caffeine, ready to meet the day head on! 🙌🏼

Thank you to our everyday heroes.
We appreciate and celebrate you! 🎉

PROJECT FLAMINGO 🦩

This women’s month we’ve partnered with Project Flamingo in putting together food donations for women undergoing breast cancer surgery.

These surgeries, funded by Project Flamingo, are aimed at assisting women living in limited resources areas.

We’re so thankful for partnerships that both empowers and celebrates women.

Thank you to the youth in our communities for getting involved and assisting in putting together these food hampers this past Sunday 👏🏼
