Isaiah 55:11

*TITLE: TRUE WORSHIPERS*

*New King James Version John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him*.

This being one of the ever used and known scriptures by almost all worship leaders around the world has actually been translated wrongly. It has been misinterpreted into the right thing but not with the very right quote. It's therefore of necessity to actually bring out the actual meaning of this profound truth made by Jesus. What the word worship actually want to depict in that scripture will not be the right thing if this scripture is read in text not in context. Worship as used by Jesus here was not and is not that moment in a church service or in your house or wherever that you start singing a slow song with or without the lyrics actually meaning what you are doing. It's not just that moment when you lift up your hands in church to adore and exalt the King of Kings, that's not just the worship Christ Jesus was talking about. If that's absolutely the worship Jesus meant, then David qualified to be a perfect worshipper but he was not.
To really understand this, let's consider the context from the question asked by the woman: *John 4:20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship*.” This clearly depict something more than just singing, she talks about a whole conduct, a materialistic manner, singing will only form a part of this but the complete directory or manner of fellowship with God is the worship she meant. Let's read *Deuteronomy 12:4-6 You shall not worship the Lord your God with such things. “But you shall seek the place where the Lord your God chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His name for His dwelling place; and there you shall go. There you shall take your BURNT OFFERINGS, YOUR SACRIFICES, YOUR TITHES, THE HEAVE OFFERINGS OF YOUR HAND, YOUR VOWED OFFERINGS, YOUR FREEWILL OFFERINGS, AND THE FIRSTBORN OF YOUR HERDS AND FLOCKS*.
That's the actual meaning of the act of worship the woman meant to asked, the materialistic act of paying homage to a deity and the sacristy manner of adoring a deity. Because many have not realised the actual meaning of our study verse, they still worship God in that sacristy manner which Jesus declared as vain and false. Christianity as portrayed by Jesus is not like religion, true worship is fellowship with God through the Spirit and Truth. The inmate of humanity with divinity, that undeniable adornment of divinity by humanity. The life of the Christian is the true worship the Father had always longed for, the very life that glorifies the God who is already full of glory, come to think of it what it means for Christ Jesus to present us as sweet aroma in the presence of the Father. Hallelujah

THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 2016.

TITLE: YOU ARE THE REASON 2

New King James Version Isaiah 60:3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.

The trend has always been the same, where the devil has always been trapped in his own folly. All through the ages, every plan of his which will seem to end up in his favour end up in his failure. Indeed he's destined to fail at all times, no wonder the apostle Paul made one of his folly clear in 1 Corinthians 2:8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. This is clear distinction of the wisdom of God which can never be cut short by the whoredom of the devil, whether in the past age, the present age or the ages to come, the wisdom of God will forever reign in heaven above and earth below.
In yesterday's devotional, we understood that the reason for the darkness in the world is because of our light. The perspective is so clear, the devil thinks he's causing life to be miserable for Christians not knowing he's ignorantly contributing good factors for our shining. The systems of the world which seem to be against you is never the truth, the truth is that very system is there for you to proof how you prosper under all circumstances. You're to proof how you don't experience rise and fall in your spectra, but you only rise and transcend in all conditions, you're to affirm to the world how despite the inconsistence in seasons, you never experience drought but your leaves are always fresh and green.
Look at the life of Isaac: Genesis 26:1-3,12-13,16 There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar. Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; And Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we.”
This is the reality of your life, despite the famine, when everyone struggles to succeed, when everyone chooses to wait for the right season, you soar above circumstances and prosper therein. The Bible said Isaac prospered, continued prospering until there was no room for prospering. This is your potential son of God, don't cry over the bad economy, don't criticise the bad governance, that's a very wrong perspective to have. Realise your capacity in Christ, you're the good reason for the situation, shine out your goodies, the whole world is looking up to you, they're gathered together to come to you, you're their only light in he gross darkness.
Arise and shine out God!

Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. (1 Peter 4:11 )

You have a gift. You don't think so? As a believer, the Holy Spirit has given you a talent. Don't hide it out of false humility. Instead, use your gift! Are you talented at whipping up a delicious meal from leftovers? What about a hidden gift of writing? Perhaps you have a green thumb. Each of these are gifts you can use to bring glory to God when others experience your gift. Determine what your gift is and share it with others.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15, 2016.

TITLE: YOU ARE THE REASON

New King James Version Isaiah 60:2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.

For the lack of knowledge people of God still perish where they must not. You tend to wonder if the fulfillment of this scripture in "Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea" has not been realised in their life. The reason why repentance precedes Christianity is paramount to be noted, the word repent is not a religious mannerism, it's far beyond that. Repent comes from two words which is 're' and 'pent', where 're' means to come again whereas 'pent' means the TOP. In simple terms, to repent means: "TO COME AGAIN TO THE TOP", this is the gospel reality. Repentance presents to you the real standard of life, the higher life in Christ which those of the world cannot received unless they come again to the top.
It's pathetic to know how those of the top confess the same thing with those of the world, that is just unacceptable. The Christian is not of this world, being in this world does not declare you an offspring of the world. You can't think the same way the world thinks, you can't have the same perspective not in any sense brother. Your thoughts are provoked from a heavenly sense because you see from the mountain top. Have you not read Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. All through the ages, many folks in the church have been made to believe the disadvantages of being in the world as a Christian, they've fully partaken of the reality of the systems of this world being against them.
But today, I tell you that's a strange lie, it's a captivating thought that conforms you to the world. It gives you the wrong perspective and thereby destroy your focus forever. The deep darkness covering the world is meant to be against you, but in reality it's for your sake; the gross perils happening around the world is meant to be against you, but in truth you're just the good reason; the frailty of the system of the world appears to be against you, but in surety it's for your good. Have you not read, how the apostle understood these things in Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. This is the right perspective of the Christian, we see with our renewed mind, the greater the darkness, the greater we shine brother. The reason why darkness cover the face of the earth is because we are the light that can never be hidden. Darkness can never be against the shining of a great light, in actual sense it contributes to it.
The reason is you brother, refuse to cry and shine out instead, all things are working out for your good! Hallelujah!

In The Presence Be still

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. ( Psalm 37:7 )

Take a moment and be still. Quiet the chatter of your mind. Focus on God. He will comfort and protect you. Don't worry or be anxious. Feel the calmness of your spirit as you walk with God. He is with you, experience His presence.
