Here are some points from Pastor Joel’s sermon broadcast on Sunday, “Defining Moments.”
We make decisions each day, most of them are routine. We don’t think much about it. But there are certain decisions that carry much more weight. They are defining moments. They not only affect us, but they affect our children and future generations. Sometimes what we think is an ordinary decision, is really a defining moment. When you’re in a situation where you’re tempted to compromise, to get upset, or to be bitter - you have to remind yourself, “This is a defining moment, this decision is going impact my destiny, so I’m going to do the right thing even though it's hard."
