Today Ps Adam preached from the book of Romans chapter 1.

Chapter 1
V1-4 Gospel concerning God's son
*Pawlosi uthi ulikhoboka likaKrestu, umsebenzi wakhe kukuba ngumpostile (messenger).
*ikhoboka lenza yonke into ngokwentando yenkosi yalo

V5-7: Received grace and Apostleship
*grace is a privilege and a responsibility
*as much as you have been s saved by grace, but you also have the responsibility in this grace that you have been called into
*we have also been given responsibility of being messengers through Jesus Christ our Lord
*we have been moved from the point of rebellion to a point of obedience through faith, and all of this is possible through grace that we have been given.
*faith propels us to be obedient to the word of God
*When God gives us grace, he has given us everything that we need and we will need in the future.

V8-15 Gospel affects the heart
V16 and 17 is the theme of the entire book of Romans.

Yesterday, we bid farewell to a woman dear to us as a church, to her family and to the Baptist Church family as a whole.

A befitting farewell was given to her through the preaching of the word of God and through song,which where two things she loved dearly.

Faith is a gift to us in order to return to
Faith happens outside our will or strength.

Faith is essentially important in the development of a Christian
Faith is not positive thinking, its not about having a crowd of people following you, or hoping for the best, neither is it good feeling of a good life;
V1, 2 & 6 Describe what faith is
V4, 5 & 7 Faith examplified
Walk by faith and not by your own might
Have the desire to please Him and the deligence to seek Him
Noah had faith in working with God
Faith emphasized in V6 and its utterly impossible to please God without faith.

We are grateful to the TM Snyman Memorial Baptist Church for being so generous with their church. Thank you is not enough to express our gratitude to them.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of this staunch, God-fearing, loving and kind woman. One of the core-founders of our church, umamuNtamesi.

After a short illness that saw her spending a week and a couple of days in hospital, God decided it was enough and took her to be with Him in heaven. She passed on to be with our Father in heaven last week Thursday.

The death of Mrs Nosiseko Ntamesi has been a huge knock to us as Motherwell Progressive Baptist church, but also to the Baptist Church in our region at large.

Prayers are commencing at her home, every day from 6pm. Her address for those who would like to come to the prayers: 49 Ncememe Street, NU6 Motherwell.

The details of her burial are as follows:
This coming Saturday of the 14th of July at the above mentions address. Her body will arrive at 8am at her house.
9:30 we heard to church
12:30 we heard to her final resting place.

"Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
