Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The St Kevin's Altar Servers recently participated in their annual training and formation programme for both new and existing members of the ministry. This special gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge, deepen their understanding of the ministry, and reaffirm their commitment to serving both the priest and the wider parish community of St Kevin's.
Together with their mentors, Mrs Monique Du Bruyn, Mrs Carmen Fisher, and Mr Jolindon Petersen, the group spent the Saturday afternoon engaging in meaningful dialogue, practical training, motivation, and team-building activities. The day was both enriching and enjoyable, equipping the altar servers with the confidence and skills to serve faithfully at the altar.
The altar servers are grateful for the privilege of serving alongside our parish priest, Fr Callistus Ndowsu, and remain committed to carrying out their ministry with reverence, dedication, and joy.
We look forward to warmly welcoming the newly commissioned First Holy Communion candidates who will soon join our Altar Servers Ministry. May God continue to bless and guide them as they begin this wonderful journey of service to His Church.
