Today we are charitable and give out of our thankfulness for who God is and for what He means to us. In our own crises we choose to be grateful and to share. In cooperation with Outreach at St Mary Magdalene Anglican church we reach out to our community.

Dear friends and supporters of HORH please take note of the following:
The Department of Social Development has ceased to fund all Foster Cluster Schemes in the Eastern Cape. This has forced HORH to re-evaluate our capacity of ministry to the vulnerable children in our care. So we have had to make certain changes to the way we operate.
We want to be clear that our main concern remains the well-being of our children and we remain committed to those who are still in our care.
Some children have been reunited with relatives or placed in the care of foster families that will continue to care for them.

HORH still have children in our care and we are still occupying the same premises until further notice. Our staff capacity necessarily had to reduce as funding ceased and those that currently do any work for us are volunteers only.

We also remain committed to support all our children whether they are with us or not. They remain family of HORH and any support for HORH will reach all our children.
We want to thank the community for their continued support and encouragement and prayers for the work we do.

Congratulations to our Matriculant on passing her Grade 12. She is making history. First to pass Matric at HORH, first girl. Praise God for his mercies that are new every day. Congratulations Sikelelwa Vazi. We are very proud of you.
