We’re going on Mission to Kenya!
-
In October 2026, a team from Walmer Methodist Church will be travelling to Bargoni Village in Lamu County, Kenya, for a two-fold mission.
-
Firstly, the team will visit Bargoni Village to paint and do further building improvements to the church we helped build in 2024, including setting up a water tank and assisting with food gardening. Secondly, the team will host a two-day seminar on discipleship and marriage enrichment, offering spiritual support to local missionaries and pastors.

Confirmation closes on Monday, 25 May 2026.
Mission dates: 5–16 October 2026 | Estimated cost: R25 000 | 50% deposit due 25 May 2026

What an incredible evening we shared at our Mission Music Trivia on Saturday, 16 May!

The Link & Hall was filled with laughter, joy, friendly competition and fantastic music from start to finish. From singing along to familiar tunes to dancing, tapping toes and plenty of smiles, it truly was a night to remember.

We are so grateful to share that, through your incredible support and generosity, over R10 000 was raised for the WMC Bread of Life Trust and the missions and outreach initiatives we support within our community.

A huge congratulations to all our winners, including our Bingo Winners, Spot Prize Winners, Spirit Award Winning Table, and Overall Mission Music Trivia Champions!

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, participated, sponsored prizes and supported this fundraiser in any way. A special thank you to Barkhuizen Tyre Services for donating two wheel alignment vouchers.
