Prayer focus: Aug 2026

We pray for women in this month. We pray that they will know how precious, beautiful and loved they are.

Psalm 91:1-2 – “Whoever dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”

Psalm 139:14 - I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Last week Holy Trinity Church celebrated Sea Sunday with the NSRI.

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. -Mark 4:39

Prayer focus: July 2026

Peace

Christianity places a strong emphasis on peace, both as a state of being and a divine gift. Jesus, often called the Prince of Peace, left His followers with an inheritance of serenity and a commandment to share it with the world. In John 14:27, He states, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Prayer for Peace from the 11th Century: O God, the comfort of all who are sorrowful, and the salvation of those who put their trust in you in this dying life, give us that peace for which we humbly pray, and finally receive us into eternal joy in your presence through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
