We all have questions.

Why are we here?
Who created us?
What is our purpose?
And what happens after this life?

Islam invites us to look beyond the surface — to know our Creator, worship Him alone, and live with purpose.

This life is temporary. The Hereafter is inevitable.

There is more to discover.

Explore. Ask questions. Seek the truth.

Time to remind.

In the rush of life, we often need a reminder to pause, reflect, and return to what truly matters.

Allah reminds us:

“And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.”
Qur’an 51:55

A reminder may be a simple message, a verse, a lesson, or a moment of reflection — but its impact can reach the heart in ways we may never know.

Here & After is a dawah portfolio dedicated to sharing reminders that call us back to Allah, strengthen our faith, and keep the Hereafter before our eyes.

Because every reminder is an opportunity to remember.

In the end, your wealth stays behind. Your deeds go with you.

One day, your home will belong to someone else.
Your bank account will be closed.
Your keys, your car, your possessions—they will all remain in this world.

But your salah.
Your charity.
Your Qur'an.
Your kindness.
Your sincere repentance.

Those will continue with you into the grave and beyond.

Allah reminds us:

"Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world, but the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for hope."
— Surah Al-Kahf (18:46)

Don't measure your life by what you accumulate.

Measure it by what you send ahead.

Because in the end, what you keep will be left behind.
What you do for Allah will remain forever.

If only we pursued the Hereafter with the same passion we pursue this world.

We plan our careers.
We chase success.
We sacrifice sleep for our goals.
We travel miles for what we desire.

But how much effort do we invest in the life that never ends?

Imagine if we were as eager for Fajr as we are for deadlines.
As determined to read the Qur'an as we are to scroll our phones.
As committed to earning Allah's pleasure as we are to earning people's approval.

The greatest investment isn't in this dunya—it's in what awaits beyond it.

Allah says:

"Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter - We increase for him in his harvest; and whoever desires the harvest of this world - We give him thereof, but he will have no share in the Hereafter."
— Surah Ash-Shūrā (42:20)

Live in this world. Don't live for it.

Your īmān is your greatest treasure.

It is more valuable than wealth.
More precious than status.
More enduring than anything this world can offer.

Protect it.

Feed it with the Qur'an.
Strengthen it through prayer.
Purify it with sincere repentance.
Increase it through remembrance of Allah.

Every decision either nurtures your īmān or weakens it. Choose what brings you closer to your Lord.

Allah says:

"The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts tremble, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith."
— Surah Al-Anfāl (8:2)

Invest in the one treasure that will benefit you when all other treasures are left behind.

Take account of it. Value it. Build it.

Allah hears every whisper.

The duʿā' you couldn't put into words.
The tears you wiped away before anyone noticed.
The fears you carry in silence.
The prayers you repeat night after night.

Nothing is hidden from Allah.

He hears the whispered duʿā' before it reaches your lips. He knows the weight in your heart before you speak it. And He is nearer to you than you can imagine.

"And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the call of the supplicant when he calls upon Me."
— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:186)

Keep making duʿā'. Keep trusting His timing. Keep turning back to Him.

The One who hears every whisper never misses a single prayer.

This dunya is temporary. The Hereafter is eternal.

We spend years chasing promotions, possessions and recognition, yet Allah asks us a question that demands reflection:

"Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter?" (Qur'an 9:38)

The comforts of this world will fade.
The homes we build will one day belong to someone else.
The wealth we collect will remain behind.

But every prayer, every act of charity, every sincere repentance and every good deed will accompany us into eternity.

Don't let what is temporary make you forget what is everlasting.

May Allah make the Hereafter our greatest concern and grant us Jannatul Firdaus. Āmīn.

"Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter."
— Surah At-Tawbah (9:38)

Life is just a moment.

From our first breath to our last, every second is a step closer to meeting Allah.

The world moves quickly. Childhood becomes adulthood. Strength becomes weakness. Time never pauses, and neither does our journey to the Hereafter.

Don't let temporary distractions make you forget your eternal destination.

"Every soul shall taste death, and you will only be given your full compensation on the Day of Resurrection."
— Surah Āl 'Imrān (3:185)

Live with intention. Seek forgiveness often. Invest in deeds that will outlive you.

Because life isn't measured by how long you live, but by how well you prepare for what comes after.
