Presbyterian Church of Africa - Kwazakhele Circuit The was founded in 1898 by Rev. Mzimba, who broke from the church of Scotland. He was born in Ngquakai and his father was a deaon in the Presbyterian Church.

He was ordained in 1875. He first Synod was constituted in Alice Cape Colony.
