Choose to renew your faith every single day. Because you can’t use yesterday’s faith for tomorrow’s problems.

God’s steadfast love never ceases, and his mercies are new every morning (Lam. 3:22). If you believe that, then God will give you enough grace for today.

Consider the Israelites. They had to gather manna from heaven, angel’s food, each morning. If they tried to hoard it for tomorrow, it would spoil (Ex. 16:20). God was teaching them the importance and necessity of daily reliance on him. It’s a truth we all must learn.

Jesus said it this way, “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matt. 6:11). Bread is God’s provision for his people each and every day.

Choose to awaken each morning relying on God’s loving faithfulness and his covenant promises to you. Ask him for the grace you will need today to address every issue you will face.

Because you can’t use yesterday’s faith for tomorrow’s problems.

"You Are Chosen to Be Royal! Don't Settle For Less!"

God has made us kings and priests to represent Him in the earth. Since Jesus has paid the very highest price for us, even opening the way for the fullness of life to us, should we not go after all that He has created us to be? We are new creations in Christ. Don't settle for less than God's best!

Chosen as Royalty

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9)

Jesus paid the highest price for us on the Cross. Through His sacrifice we've been adopted into His family and given a place with Jesus in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Not only that, we've been given the titles of "priests" and
Bring your Bible into the equation, integrating it into your private times with the Lord. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak what may be even ONE WORD to you, guiding you in your reading of Scripture. This is where the light of revelation, even His voice, comes, and you can then search the Scriptures to strengthen your heart with confidence and faith.

Mother Heart of God
“Can a mother forget her nursing child that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget but yet I will not forget you. Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands…” -Isaiah 49:15-16

To all the women who are pressing through the false beliefs and broken barriers to become the spiritual mothers that Jesus created you to be –
Happy Spiritual Mothers’ Day!

“There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. There are different types of work to do, but the same God produces every gift in every person.”
1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (GW)

When you know what you’re shaped to be, then you know what you ought to be, and you can start focusing on that and make better use of your life.

The moment you step across the line spiritually and begin following Jesus, you say, “I’m going to go God’s way, not my own way. I’m going to let him direct my life. I want to follow God’s purpose, not my purpose. I’m going to do what I was wired and made to do.”

After you take that step, God does four things for you: He forgives you, he gives you eternal life, he gives you the Holy Spirit, and he gives you special abilities.

In the Bible, these special abilities are called spiritual gifts, which makes them different from material or physical gifts. They are the abilities you need to get the job done that God wants you to do. Most people who are believers don’t even know they’ve got spiritual gifts, much less what they are. But you have them!

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6, “There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. There are different types of work to do, but the same God produces every gift in every person” (GW).

God has a purpose for your life, and your spiritual gifts are the equipment he gives you to do what he asks you to do. God will never ask you to do something he doesn’t give you the ability to do. It’s given to you the moment you accept Christ. You don’t get to choose your gift. You don’t earn your gift.

It’s also not for your benefit. Your spiritual gifts are given to you to help other people. And other people in the church family are given their gifts to help you.

When you use your spiritual gift, the people in your church get blessed. When we develop and use our spiritual gifts, we all get blessed.

To get that blessing and make the most of your life, you need to figure out how God shaped you and what spiritual gifts he gave you.

Power of the Blood

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."
Revelation 12:11

Christian believers are involved in a conflict. Our enemy is called "the serpent," "the devil," "Satan," and "the accuser of our brethren" (Rev. 12:9, 10). He began this conflict in the Garden of Eden and will continue until the Lord returns to reign.

The good news is that Satan, our enemy, is a defeated foe! Christ's atoning death and resurrection accomplished his complete and final defeat. The blood of Christ causes God's people to prevail, because it answers all of the enemy's accusations. Satan controls and defeats humankind through guilt and accusations. He is a blackmailer. However, the saints know that Jesus' blood has satisfied all of the charges against us, joined us to God, and provided us with every necessary provision to defeat Satan!

God has declared us righteous and victorious, and in the Apostle John's revelation of the final conflict, the message came through: "They overcame [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb." Our power to overcome is the same!

God's Vessels

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. —Psalm 37:25

The Lord takes pleasure in the success of His servants. Yet God's abundance is not granted so you can simply lavish it on yourself. It is given to establish the kingdom of God throughout the earth (Deuteronomy 8:18).

We are created to be vessels through which He can pour out His abundance and blessing. God looses abundance in our lives so that we, in turn, can deliver it into the earth to help bring about His kingdom.

Vessels God uses are vessels not contaminated by the ways of the world. The abundance of God overflows from vessels of gold that have been purified in the Refiner's fire.

Set your heart and your mind on becoming "a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work" (2 Timothy 2:21).

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” MATTHEW 28:6
We are about to learn, for the first time as a generation, that Easter is not about…
•A new dress •A fancy hat •Coordinating outfits •Big hair •Floral prints •Eggs •Decorative crosses •A well-worded sermon •A hyped-up music program •Inspiring dramas •Packed churches •Breaking records •Guest retention
We are about to learn that Easter…or Resurrection Sunday…is about…
•An empty tomb •Life over death •Fulfilled promises •Answered prayers •Victory over death •Triumph over hell •Crushing the grip of the grave •Hope for tomorrow
None of which require a single, solitary thing from the first list.
This year, Easter will be quiet, intimate communion with Jesus…and that’s ok.

Read JUDGES 5:1-12

There are times when chaos reigns in our life because others are not willing or able to fulfill their God-given roles. When this happens, we often suffer from lack of leadership and protection. We may feel frustrated and angry.

The time of the judges was full of confusion for Israel. Instead of obeying God’s law, “the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes” (17:6). They were oppressed by tyrants, one of whom was King Jabin of Hazor. The commander of the Canaanite army ruled by Jabin was Sisera, who “ruthlessly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years” (4:3). At this time God chose Deborah to be a judge. Her job was to decide the disputes of the people.

One day Deborah summoned a man named Barak and told him that God would use him to defeat the army of Sisera. “Barak told her, ‘I will go, but only if you go with me’” (4:8). So Deborah agreed to go along, but she said, “But you will receive no honor in this venture, for the LORD’s victory over Sisera will be at the hands of a woman” (4:9). Barak lacked the faith to take on the responsibilities God had chosen him for. In the end, Sisera did die at the hands of a woman. In the victory song, Deborah was honored. They sang, “There were few people left in the villages of Israel—until Deborah arose as a mother for Israel” (5:7).

When others don’t fulfill their rightful duties and roles, we have the option of finding a way to cope, with God’s help. Deborah compensated for Barak’s lack of faith. We don’t have to endure the ongoing effects of other people’s limitations. And we don’t have to accept the painful circumstances that their weaknesses create.

A Way Of Escape

Psalm 23:5
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

The table is set. The bread and wine are there, and Jesus says to you, “Come, My child, partake.” But you tell Him, “Lord, I am unworthy!” You are afraid to come to the Lord’s table perhaps because you have been taught that if you partake in your “unworthy” state, you will come under God’s fiery judgment.

My friend, Jesus has washed you whiter than snow and qualified you with His own blood, so you are as worthy as worthy can be! The most humble thing you can do now is to acknowledge His perfect sacrifice and accept His invitation with gladness.

In 1 Corinthians 11, Paul tells the church how to partake of the Lord’s Supper so that they will not drink judgment to themselves. The word “judgment” in verses 29 and 34 is krima in the original Greek text. It refers to a divine sentence. And in the context of this passage, the divine sentence refers to sickness.

But when was this divine sentence of sickness passed? It was passed when Adam sinned. (Genesis 3:19) When he sinned, death entered the world (Genesis 2:17), and man would grow old and weak, fall sick and die.

So it is not that God is passing sentences of sickness on people today. How can that be when Jesus said, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:17) God is not in the business of condemning but saving. And the Greek word for “saved”, sozo, also means to preserve, heal and make whole.

God does not want you to suffer the divine sentence of sickness that is already in the world, so He has given you a way of escape, paid for by the blood of His Son. He wants you to be healthy and whole, without the diseases of the world, and He has made this possible for you through the Holy Communion.

So don’t be robbed of this tremendous blessing any longer because of erroneous teachings that have put fear in your heart. Come boldly to the Lord’s table today and receive afresh His health, strength, wholeness and life!

Thought For The Day
God wants you to be healthy and whole, without the diseases of the world, and He has made this possible for you through the Holy Communion.
