The Full Gospel Church - Ledwaba Assembly Living the Gospel Life as a Disciple of Jesus Christ. The Full Gospel Church of God is one of the many Pentecostal Bible-believing churches.

Her teachings seek to change people's lives across culture, creed or economic backgrounds. This page aims to persuade believers in general, and Christians in particular, to 'fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith' (Heb 12:1,2 and Colossians 2:6-10).

EXAMINATION TIME
So busy preparing for exams starting tomorrow, I even missed our Local Assembly's Sisters' Union Conference that was held yesterday and today.
Speakers were prof MJ Themane and Pastor Mannya. A video was taken today and in due course I will share some breath-taking moments with you.

For now, prayers, bazalwane: My exam papers have not yet arrived, but believe God with me to turn everything to our advantage (Rom 8:28) because we love Him so much.

May the love and peace of God keep you intimately in prayer for me and everybody writing examinations.

I have just read a sobering article by Philip Yancey, from Vanishing Grace titled "Why Is the Church Failing the Millennials?" He quotes, amongst others, one American youth:

“When Christians talk to you, they act as if you are a robot. They have an agenda to promote, and if you don’t agree with them, they’re done with you.”

How damaging is this truth (unless you disagree?) to the Gospel of Jesus AND our beloved youth?

Today's theme 'RESTITUTION AND CONFESSION OF SINS.
My introduction: God hates sin. In the Old Testament burnt offerings were used for forgiveness of sin. Some churches still practice a programme of confession before getting into the temple. Bazalwane do not do that. Does it mean they (the 'born agains' (BA)) do not have sins? One of ten people I asked during the sermon said she does not have sins. What is your take?

Why study in GREEK/HEBREW as Dr Patterson prescribed?

These languages contain the original interpretations of the Bible. If we want to "live the gospel life as disciples of Jesus Christ" we must be 'mathēteúō ("to disciple")' according to His model. Μαθητής is a Greek word for DISCIPLE (pronounced math-ay-tes') or "mathētḗs (from math-, the "mental effort needed to think something through") – properly, a learner; a disciple, a follower of Christ who learns the doctrines of Scripture and the lifestyle they require; someone catechized with proper instruction from the Bible with its necessary follow-through (life-applications)." Accessed from(http://biblehub.com/greek/3101.htm)

Christianity needs the "mental effort needed to think something through" like Mathematics. This will decrease the number of the overnight and fly-by-night 'bishops', 'prophets' etc. with no proper scriptural basis.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV). Greek and Hebrew are good tools.

Responding to the article ""Study to shew thyself approved unto God,..." my Greek/Hebrew teacher, Dr Macaire H Patterson wrote: "Then you better be using GREEK and HEBREW to "rightly divide the Word of God!"'
This is powerful. Do you know why? If you LIKE, I will explain tomorrow. Till then, be blessed.

For many years Ledwaba Assembly has been ministering to three branches, namely Ledwaba(mother church), Mathibela and Matome. Last week, the leadership attended a Sunday service at a new branch in Motantanyane that was established by the evangelist, brother Solly Ledwaba (pictured earlier at Ledwaba branch). Please pray for him.

A horrible accident took place between a taxi and a lorry whose two wheels just came off and hit the taxi. By 10.00 members of our church were already in the casualty area of Lebowakgomo hospital praying for the victims and supporting one of their branch managers in the picture below. The taxi was pictured hanging in a 'hole' near the road. God's grace kept them all alive.
Let us keep praying against road accidents

The king, G. Zwelithini has spoken and many, including his own 'amabutho" are still unanswered.

But when the KING of kings and LORD of lords spoke, not only did the evil spirit depart (Mark 1:25-28; Luke 4:35-37) and the storm calm down, but the people were amazed, saying "What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him."

Christians, let us "lift up our eyes our to the mountains. Our "... help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1, 2).

Keep saying, singing, preaching and praying "NO TO XENOPHOBIA!" and God will do it.

Good morning and greetings in the name of Jesus. When last did you read the Book of Esther? Do you remember her enjoying herself in the warmth and the comfort of the palace while all of her Jewish folks were heading for a destruction much similar to the present xenophobic fracas? Mordecai persuaded her to go and plead with the king for their course. I plead with you today once more to make time to plead with the KING for the situation. pleas read Esther 4, particularly vv13and 14. Pleas do that NOW.

As the darkness of the night falls upon helpless and frightened foreign nationals along with the cold and rainy weather, please join me in the prayer once made by Elisha in 2 Kings 6: 14- 17: LORD, OPEN THEIR EYES THAT THEY MAY SEE THE ABUNDANCE OF YOUR LOVE AND PROTECTION, BECAUSE IN THEE, LORD OF HOSTS, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING OUR PRAYERS IN JESUS'NAME. AMEN.
