Dear Pastor's Kid
Being a pastor's kid is not always easy. People often expect you to be perfect, to never make mistakes, and to always have everything together like an adult. The expectations are very high for you but no one notices the battles you fight in silence.
The pain you are facing for being a PK as seen and noticed. The sacrifices you make will be repaid one day.
You didn't choose to be born by pastors, you just found yourself in this situation. No institution has prepared you for being a PK.
You don't follow Christ because your parents are pastors. You follow Him because you have personally experienced His love, grace, and faithfulness. Your faith cannot depend on your family's ministry it must be rooted in your own relationship with Jesus.
There will be pressure. There will be always criticism. There will be days when people misunderstand you. But remember, God did not call you to please people; He called you to remain faithful to Him.
To every pastor's kid: don't let your identity be defined by people's expectations. Let it be defined by Christ. Stand firm, stay humble, and continue serving God with a sincere heart.
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." — 6:33
