The battle is not yours but God's

“Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15.

One of the weapons the enemy uses in our lives is intimidation. Satan likes us to overestimate his power and to undermine the greatness of the power of God that is in us, with us and for us. God’s encouragement to you today is: ‘Do not be overwhelmed by the magnitude of your challenge, but instead remember the awesome greatness of your God’. Gideon destroyed a great army with only a few men. Moses toppled Pharaoh’s kingdom in Egypt without a physical army.

When you pray to God, invite Him into your battles and He will become the Commander and Chief, mighty in battle, with His host of angels to fight for you. The battle becomes His and your enemies become His enemies. Pray, believe, let go and let God rule in your battles. Then the battle will no longer be yours, but God’s.
