For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 (KJV)

This verse explains the two opposite results of two different paths: sin and God’s grace.

1. “For the wages of sin is death”
The word “wages” means payment earned for work done. Just as a worker receives wages for labor, sin also has a payment.

The Bible teaches that the natural result of sin is death. This includes:
▪︎ Spiritual death – separation from God (Isaiah 59:2).
▪︎ Physical death – the mortality that entered the world through sin (Genesis 3; Romans 5:12).
▪︎ Eternal death – eternal separation from God if sin remains unforgiven.

In simple terms, sin pays a salary, and that salary is death.

2. “But the gift of God is eternal life”
In contrast to wages, a gift is something you do not earn. God does not offer eternal life as something we achieve by our good works. Instead, He gives it freely as a gift of grace.

Eternal life means:
● A restored relationship with God
● Forgiveness of sins
● Life that never ends in God’s presence

3. “Through Jesus Christ our Lord”
This gift is possible only because of Jesus Christ. Jesus took the punishment for sin when He died on the cross. Because He paid the penalty that sin deserved, those who believe in Him receive eternal life instead of death (John 3:16).

Romans 6:23 is the gospel in one sentence:
◇ Sin earns death.
◇God offers eternal life as a free gift.
◇That gift comes only through Jesus Christ.

Think of it like this:
Sin = a job that pays death.
God = a loving Father offering a free gift of eternal life.
Jesus = the One who paid the price so we can receive that gift.

This verse calls every person to turn from sin and receive God’s gift through faith in Jesus Christ.

NO MATTER HOW FAR, GRACE ALWAYS LEADS US HOME

A Lesson from the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–32)

Powerful Introduction

The story of the prodigal son is not mainly about rebellion—it is about grace. It reminds us that distance from God does not cancel His love, and failure does not erase our identity. The far country represents every moment we choose independence over obedience, pleasure over purpose, and pride over repentance. Yet this parable reveals a God who does not stop being a Father when His child walks away. No matter how far a person falls, grace always leaves a path back home.

1. Sin Promises Freedom but Always Produces Emptiness

The prodigal son believed that life away from his father would bring fulfillment, but it only brought loss. Sin may appear attractive at first, but it always overpromises and underdelivers. What began with celebration ended in starvation. Separation from God never results in abundance—only spiritual famine.
“And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine… and he began to be in want.” (Luke 15:14, KJV)

2. Rock Bottom Often Becomes the Place of Awakening

It was in the pigsty not the party that the prodigal came to his senses. God often uses brokenness to awaken truth in our hearts. When all illusions are stripped away, clarity begins. Hitting rock bottom is not the end; it is often the beginning of repentance.

3. Remembering the Father’s Goodness Fuels Repentance

The son remembered that even the servants in his father’s house lived in abundance. This memory did not produce entitlement but hope. Remembering God’s goodness helps us realize that returning to Him is not a downgrade—it is restoration.
“How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare.” (Luke 15:17, KJV)

4. True Repentance Begins with Honest Confession

The prodigal did not justify his sin or shift blame. He confessed plainly and humbly. Repentance is not self-condemnation; it is agreement with God about the truth of our condition. Grace flows where honesty begins.
“I have sinned against heaven, and before thee.” (Luke 15:18, KJV)

5. Grace Responds to Movement, Not Perfection

The son did not clean himself up before returning. He arose as he was and went home. God does not wait for us to be perfect—He waits for us to return. Grace meets obedience in motion.
“And he arose, and came to his father.” (Luke 15:20, KJV)

6. The Father Runs Toward Repentant Sinners

While the son expected rejection, the father ran toward him. This shows God’s heart—He is not reluctant to forgive. He watches, waits, and responds with compassion. Grace reaches us before shame can speak.
“But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion.” (Luke 15:20, KJV)

7. God Restores Identity, Not Just Relationship

Father I need You today, as I do need You everyday. Father thank You for Your patience and willingness through Your Holy Spirit, to teach me how to become what You want me to become. Thank You for Your inspired blessed Word, that makes it that I don’t have to depend on any person to teach me anything, but I can take the time to go through Your bible, page by page and learn every thing I need in order to become the righteous, just obedient person You want and need me to be, in order for You to use me to help further the expansion of Your blessed Kingdom. I do not have any excuse for not knowing Your ways. You told me in Psalm 118:8-9 to put no confidence, trust in no man. And in John 14:24-25 the Holy Spirit will teach me all things. Father be glorified, In Jesus name I pray!

THE BEEF FEAST.
One day a man slaughtered a fat bull and roasted it well, afterwards he told his brother :

" GO OUT AND INVITE OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS TO COME EAT THE BEEF WITH US."

The brother went out and shouted :
" OH PEOPLE HELP!
HELP!
A FIRE IS CONSUMING OUR HOME!"

Soon people came out of their homes but some pretended they didn't hear anything. Those who entered the house found themselves in front of a feast where they ate and drank until they were satsfied.
Later the man turned amazed to his brother, and asked him :

" BUT THOSE WHOM YOU INVITED I DON'T KNOW THEM NOR HAVE SEEN THEM BEFORE. SO WHERE ARE OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS WHOM I ASKED YOU TO CALL?"

The brother replied :
" THESE ARE OUR FRIENDS THE ONES WHO CAME OUT OF THEIR HOMES TO RESCUE US TO PUT OUT THE FIRE IN OUR HOUSE, THEY DIDN'T EVEN EXPECT TO COME FIND FOOD."

LESSON:
Know that those who are only with you when they have a need and ignore you when you need them are not worthy to be considered your friends, they are HYPOCRITES. Now you should know how to distinguish. Besides, never turn away from those who need you because life is a rotation...

Message from The Apostle Mpofu.

Greetings to you Church of The Living God, grace and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Saviour.

I write to you this message to strengthen you in the faith during this great time when our Almighty God has handed this sinful world into his left hand, to demonstrate once again that He is God, and that this world belongs to him. He has done what he once did in the days when the ark of God was smuggled violently and unprocedurally into Philistine.

1 Samuel 5:6-9
“But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.
And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about thither.
And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.”

Both small and great people among the Philistine were smitten by a pestilence, a plague of emerods from God. God was angry at the Philistines because they had desecrated the Holy Ark of the Covenant, they took it in total disregard of the instructions of God on how it was supposed to be carried, who was supposed to carry it and where it was supposed to be carried. They were not allowed to touch the Holy things of God because they were a people of a filthy life, they were pagans who worshiped and served the idols of the Philistines; like Dagon and Baal. But when they became strong at war they decided to blaspheme God by touching the Holy things of God. When God smote them, they died, both small and great, the rich and the poor, the kings and the servants, the wise and the foolish.

And this is what is happening to this world in the wake of the COVID 19 Corona Virus, it is a plague visited upon all humanity from God. People are dying and more people are going to die, thousands are dying everyday, for the past few days above eight hundred (800) people have been dying on a daily basis in Italy and in Spain, in the United States of America more than five hundred (500) people are dying everyday, with total deaths of 13 211, 10 003 and 5 110 respectively as at today 02 April 2020. The world has lost a total of 48 111 lives as at today, and there is a total of 951 900 reported cases of people who have tested positive to the Covid 19 infection and this number is fast increasing on an hourly basis. The number is still rising because our medical institutions have not found a drug that can cure those infected with this virus, and it is spreading very rapidly that the medical institutions cannot match its spreading speed even at the testing level.

No one is unscathed, the effects of this epidemic are far reaching, if you have not died of the virus you have lost a family member, a friend or a colleague; if you are not sick, then you have a sick family member or members, friends, workmates or colleagues. For those who are living in areas where there are relatively few to no cases of the epidemic, then they are shut up in the confines of their houses, under a quarantine or a shut down directive from their leaders in government, therefore everyone is affected, everyone both small and great, just like what happened to Philistine.

Those countries we thought they have everything figured out, they have medical institutions that are well resourced to become the places of refuge in times of medical crises, they are crying foul of being strangled and choked by the Covid 19 virus. The so called developed countries are suffering from underfunded medical institutions, inadequate Personal Protection Equipment for their health workers, serious shortage of testing kits, as well as inadequate hospital facilities like hospital beds, ventilators etc. The poor, abused and mismanaged countries of the world like those in Africa and South America are left for the grace of God in the wake of such a crisis.

The economic effects of this epidemic are also very serious and devastating; the stock markets are plunging into all time low, to the world war 2 levels, there is rapidly rising unemployment as a result of the closure of businesses, industries and markets (more than six million jobs have been lost already in the USA, among other countries like Italy, Spain and the UK)

Numbers 16:41-50
“But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.
And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.”

Fourteen thousand seven hundred people were killed by God in Numbers sixteen, Why? Because they murmured against God and condemned Him for killing other people (God had killed more than two hundred and fifty men who had challenged his ordained ministers in the church), it was a rebellion against God which was led by Korah, Dathan and Abiram. God destroyed people by swallowing them into the earth alive, then again God consumed and destroyed two hundred and fifty people by fire. Then those who remained complained and then for the third time God sent a plague, a pestilence just like Covid 19 virus and it killed fourteen thousand seven hundred people.

A pestilence is meant to bring people to repentance because God brings a pestilence as a punishment for wickedness and rebellion against him. But if people murmur against God and complain about the pestilence; then God will either increase the lethality of the pestilence or bring another more deadly pestilence than the first one. A pestilence of fire destroyed 250 people in Numbers 16, people did not repent when they witnessed the death of the 250 people, then God brought ANOTHER pestilence, and what happened next? More people died from the next pestilence, the plague, 14 700 people!

What this means is that the world is supposed to come back to God, confess our sins and repent to God for our sins, if we do not do that then there are two things that are going to happen; 1) the Covid 19 will affect a lot more people than it has killed already, which means it will kill more than the 48 111 people in the next month or so, 2) God will bring another more deadly pestilence than Covid 19. We should not murmur against God and complain about the negative deadly effects of Covid 19, but rather we should thank God for stamping his authority and put our world to a complete stop so that we may give him attention, this is what he wants from us.

Number 11:31-35

”And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.”

If you read the whole book of Numbers 11, you will also see that the Israelites had murmured against God demanding for meat, they were sick and tired of the Bread (Manna) God was constantly and consistently providing them with. The LORD smote the people with a very great plague, it was the LORD, it was God who brought this very great plague and NOT Satan; whom the Christians and their false prophets are blaming.

As the TRUE BELIEVERS, we are NEVER going to elevate Satan and blame him for the death of God’s people, No! The devil has never yielded such power, he is a weakling, he is impotent, he has no such power, but Our God has. The Devil is a creature created by God and we are also creatures created by God, life and death are in God’s hands and not the Devil. Putting the Devil in charge of death weakens the position of God, it makes him inferior to Satan, because it means that once God creates something then he would not have the power to decide when that creature dies, but the Devil! That is something only the unbelievers can say, the true believers know that God is in control of both life and death.

1 Samuel 2:6

“The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.”

Jeremiah 25:30-33

”Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.”

Isaiah 11:1-4

” And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.”

Amos 4:6-10

Amos 4:8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
Amos 4:9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
Amos 4:10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.”

Revelation 1:10-18

”I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

Deuteronomy 32:39

“See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.”

Jesus has the keys of hell and death, and this means that no one can enter through the door of death if the Lord Jesus Christ does not open the door of death for you.
Now as Jesus Revelation Ministries, we are fortunate that the God of heaven who is angry at this present world and bringing the calamity of pestilences upon it as a punishment for its wickedness, He is Our Father. Yes God is our Father and he delights in us, he is happy with us, because we are his children who are living by His word, we are obedient to his gospel and we live godly lives for which God is happy. He is angry at the world and Not at His Church, we are not of this world, and therefore the judgments meted on this world are not Wonders to us, but signs of his wrath, his anger and his condemnation of the wickedness of this world.

John 17:6-9

“I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.”

1 John 2:15-17

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever”

James 4:4

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

As the scriptures above indicate, we are not of This World, the word ‘WORLD’ refers to ungodly men, whose hearts have been seared by the Devil with the hot iron of total negligence towards God and his law. God is not angry at us his people, his church, his saints, No, he is unhappy with the world! The world has rejected God, they do not have time for God, they worship man-made gods, their own gods which neither have ears to hear nor eyes to see, they worship their own money, they worship their foolish worldly wisdom , their education, their wealth, their lust and their greed. They cannot find time to hear God’s word, they are busy worshiping their businesses, their jobs, their professions, their projects and their careers. Because of that they live in error, they live by their traditions, they have neglected God’s word and God’s principles. This is why God has put this world into the hands of a pestilence.

And because of this pestilence all that the wicked world was worshiping is suddenly brought to the ground, it is now useless; everyone is now running to save their own lives. The businesses have shut down, there are no more stock markets to chase, the board meetings are on hold, and there is no election, those who ran away from God because they worship sporting activities; there is no football match to watch, the Olympic Games have been postponed, so were the Champions league matches and other athletic and sporting disciplines. Nothing is working, for the first time in their lives the billionaires are stranded, their money cannot save them, the dictators are stranded, the armies will not save them, the learned Gurus are desperate, their education has dismally failed. All that everyone is looking up to is God. If God does not help you, you are FINISHED!

To believers, this is a great opportunity to audit our walk in the faith to see that we do not live like those who are of the WORLD and only make a claim that we are saved and that we know the true gospel. It is also our time to ask God to forgive us of our sins, our mischief, our misdeeds and misdemeanors in the Ark, the New Testament Ark. If God was to ask you to take your flight right now, are you clean enough to enter into paradise? Remember nothing unclean shall enter into heaven, not even a small tiny little blemish, or spot or wrinkle!

2 Peter 3:14

"Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”

1 Timothy 6:13-15

“I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;”

Ephesians 5:25-27

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

This is the time to measure oursevels in light of the true gospel which is the standard by which this world shall be judged (John 12:46-48, Acts 17:30-31). Are we blameless before the Holy God of Heaven, are we living our lives in the fear of God, holy and unrebukable? Or we are saying Poto, Poto (The Word, The Word) in vain but our hearts are far from God?

Matthew 15:7-8

“Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”

Matthew 7:21-27

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

This is time to work out your salvation with fear and trembling;


Philippians 2:12

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Look into your spirit, your spirit, your heart to see your shortcomings in the faith, your spirit (heart) will not lie to you.

1 John 3:19-21

“ And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.”

Confront your weaknesses, confront your ailments in the faith and ask the Lord to forgive you, ask him to help you overcome them, commit yourself to be a better believer, a better child of God with a purer and a clearer conscience before God than before. Hear the word, listen to his gospel, let the word give you power to rise above your weaknesses, pray about it, fast about it. Never again should the devil yield any power to control you and your life in God using sin.

You can be better in God than you are right now, you can grow and mature more in the word than you are right now, and by so doing the grace of God that works in your life will increase proportionally to your maturity in the word. Maturity in the word is not measured by your ability to retain scriptures, reciting them and your ability to report what you understand in the sermons alone, No! it is also measured by how much the word has managed to change your character, the way you live, your language, your mindset and your zeal to serve and please God.

We have no need to worry, we are safe, we are going to be fine, we are well taken care of, this is not a time to fear, to panic or to doubt God’s ability to protect you, this is a time to see God demonstrating to you that for surety you are his child, his son, his inheritance. And for that you need to thank God for his love, because he prepared you to face such a situation, he adopted you to be his son well before the pestilence came, he knew what he was doing, the word of God inside you shall be God’s reason to protect you.

Prayers do not make one a child of God, but a child of God can make prayers to God and they strengthen his relationship with God even at such a time like this. As we pray to God let us thank him for his love, his grace his mercy in feeding us with his word which shall be our only way out of these pestilences. But let our prayers not be led by fear, panic or anxiety. We are not afraid to die because remember, if we die we gain, and if we live it is Jesus Christ ( Philippians 1:21-24, 2 Corinthians 5:1-8).

We should utilize this lock down time, or social distancing time to come closer to God, it is a time to distance yourself from other men, but coming closer and spending more time with God. We can manage to do that by listening to the word and in prayer, and in this regard I want to advise you that you should not be pushing an agenda of listening to more sermons than all other believers combined. No! we are not in a sermon listening competition, it does NOT help you. Do it slowly, take your time, revise each sermon, write notes, listen to one sermon over and over again until you have mastered the theme of each sermon and have registered all the most important scriptures in that sermon. Talk to other believers about each sermon and compare notes to see if you would have missed anything from that message.

Report on The Covid 19 Corona Virus in Jesus Revelation Ministries World –Wide

As of today 02 April 2020 1400 hours CAT, there is one confirmed Corona Virus infection case in Jesus Revelation Ministries and it happened in the United Kingdom Assembly. The infected person is a woman and she is reported to be in a stable condition and I intend to talk to her to find out how she is doing. There is another suspected case of one female believer in the USA assembly, she has been taken to hospital showing signs of the virus but at the time of writing this message we had not received confirmation that she has tested positive. Everywhere else we do not have cases of Covid 19 related illnesses, neither do we have any fatality yet, in the entire JRM Family world-wide and we thank God for this situation. Our prayers are going towards these two brethren we have mentioned above and those who can manage to call them please strengthen them in the faith and encourage then in the word, they will pull through, the Lord Jesus Christ is faithful.

Admonition

To those believers who live in countries, or provinces or states or districts in which the authorities have ordered a shut down and social distancing measures to curb the spread of this virus, we encourage you to obey such orders as they are for the good of everyone including ourselves. There is NO CURE for this pandemic virus, and the best way to save lives under such a situation is to make sure that those who are not infected yet remain negative to the Covid 19 infection; and that those who have tested positive are secluded from those who are negative to avoid its spread while they receive treatment.

Let us make sure we do not come into contact with many people at any one moment, let us practice the highest standards of personal hygiene, let us wash our hands with soap or sanitizers very regularly, let us avoid handshakes, and let those showing signs of the Covid 19 quickly visit the medical centers designated in your communities for testing and further investigations.

We also thank every health worker or medical practitioner, all local authority workers and state official as well as all arms of governments, government workers and leaders in all their selfless work towards the fight for life during the time of this pestilence. We want to specially salute the medical health officers, the doctors and nurses who are at the front line in helping those who are suffering in pain because of this pandemic.

We encourage the media practitioners and journalists to desist from misinformation as well as sensationalizing the Covid 19 issue, but let them verify their information with relevant authorities before they publicize the information; Medical issues that are sensitive concerning this virus should be disseminated by relevant medical Experts to avoid panic, psychological damages associated with misinformation.

We urge all political institutions in all countries, political parties and persons to desist from politicizing this Covid 19 virus matter as that will be the most inhumane thing to do and we encourage them to join hands with all stakeholders in this crisis. All citizens are equal and they should be treated the same regardless of political affiliation or political office, in terms of receiving of test kits, admission to hospitals, and receiving of any medical or social aid addressing effects of this catastrophe. It is at times like this that our humanity should bind is in unity of purpose and love towards each other, let us shelve issues that divide us and show that we are not animals but humans who have a conscience.

We encourage African governments , especially the Zimbabwean Government leadership to provide food hampers consisting of food commodities that can last a month to all its citizens, we also encourage the Zimbabwean government leadership to pass a law that suspends all property owners from collecting rentals for the month of March, April and May 2020 like what happened in South Africa, let the government make a payment arrangement with the said property owners that is agreeable to government and the said property owners. This is because more than ninety percent (90 %) of the Zimbabwean population cannot afford to buy food on their own during this shut down, because of over ninety percent unemployment rate. Most of them survive on limping informal businesses (the majority of which are illegal), which can only provide them with money that can buy food that last for not more than two days. Again there are effects of the soaring inflation rate as well as a generally dysfunctional economy. Our people cannot be forced to stay at home where there is no clean and safe water to drink, and no food; it is cruel and it is inconsiderate of our government. We are respectfully asking the President of Zimbabwe to make sure that all people in Zimbabwe receive water at their door steps during this lockdown period, and also to do what the Rwandan President has done, to distribute food packages to his population. If the water and food crisis is not addressed in Zimbabwe, there is a greater risk of the rising up of a serious cholera outbreak during or soon after the Covid 19 epidemic.

We also want to warn the Zimbabwean government against use of excessive force by the police and the army as they try to enforce the twenty-one (21) day shut down presidential directive. The police and the army should encourage people to stay at home, they should NEVER beat up people or abuse our women who are faced with the heavy burden of feeding the family in such a dire situation. Zimbabweans are peaceful and law abiding citizens, they are not bandits, terrorists neither are they a rioting population, that is a great virtue to be celebrated by a mature and wise leadership, there is therefore no reason at all for us to see video clips of the police beating up people. Instead of them to beat up people, let them use all that energy to bring water trucks, tankers and carts to the people of Zimbabwe to their door steps. It is at times like these that a government and its leadership are tested on how true and genuine are its intentions towards the welfare of its people. They say the effectiveness of any government is tested to the limit in a time of crisis, history will judge the effectiveness of each government across the whole world post the Covid 19 era.


However we encourage them to remember these two things:

1) A pestilence comes from God, and they are not safe from the effects of the pestilence because they are wearing Protective Personal Equipment or involved in the fight against this epidemic, but they too like the rest of the people of this world, must also come back to God through repentance, if they do not repent, they will likewise perish.

Luke 13:1-5
“ There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
Luk 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

Being in the Corona Virus Task Force does not mean you are in good terms with God, it is your worldly responsibility, but how God is going to deal with you regarding this pestilence is entirely based on your personal relationship with him.

2) A pestilence is not ended by men, regardless of how innovative they are in the medical front, it is God who brought it and He will be the one who shall command it to stop. But it only stops when the DETERMINED destruction has been fulfilled. Yes a pestilence is brought to men by God to destroy, never think twice about that! People die due to the effects of a pestilence and those who live after the pestilence are supposed to repent and come to God, in fear of what they witnessed during the pestilence, (Listen to the message I preached on 25/03/2020 titled The Pestilence: Understanding Covid 19) it is there on our YouTube Channel.

2 Samuel 24:15-16
“So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.
And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.”

In the above scripture it was God who ordered the pestilence to stop, and not anyone, eve

The Lord willing He will open their hearts to repentance and they will be saved.

Message from The Apostle.

Greetings to you Church of The Living God, grace and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Saviour.

I write to you this message to strengthen you in the faith during this great time when our Almighty God has handed this sinful world into his left hand, to demonstrate once again that He is God, and that this world belongs to him. He has done what he once did in the days when the ark of God was smuggled violently and unprocedurally into Philistine.

1 Samuel 5:6-9
“But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.
And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about thither.
And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.”

Both small and great people among the Philistine were smitten by a pestilence, a plague of emerods from God. God was angry at the Philistines because they had desecrated the Holy Ark of the Covenant, they took it in total disregard of the instructions of God on how it was supposed to be carried, who was supposed to carry it and where it was supposed to be carried. They were not allowed to touch the Holy things of God because they were a people of a filthy life, they were pagans who worshiped and served the idols of the Philistines; like Dagon and Baal. But when they became strong at war they decided to blaspheme God by touching the Holy things of God. When God smote them, they died, both small and great, the rich and the poor, the kings and the servants, the wise and the foolish.

And this is what is happening to this world in the wake of the COVID 19 Corona Virus, it is a plague visited upon all humanity from God. People are dying and more people are going to die, thousands are dying everyday, for the past few days above eight hundred (800) people have been dying on a daily basis in Italy and in Spain, in the United States of America more than five hundred (500) people are dying everyday, with total deaths of 13 211, 10 003 and 5 110 respectively as at today 02 April 2020. The world has lost a total of 48 111 lives as at today, and there is a total of 951 900 reported cases of people who have tested positive to the Covid 19 infection and this number is fast increasing on an hourly basis. The number is still rising because our medical institutions have not found a drug that can cure those infected with this virus, and it is spreading very rapidly that the medical institutions cannot match its spreading speed even at the testing level.

No one is unscathed, the effects of this epidemic are far reaching, if you have not died of the virus you have lost a family member, a friend or a colleague; if you are not sick, then you have a sick family member or members, friends, workmates or colleagues. For those who are living in areas where there are relatively few to no cases of the epidemic, then they are shut up in the confines of their houses, under a quarantine or a shut down directive from their leaders in government, therefore everyone is affected, everyone both small and great, just like what happened to Philistine.

Those countries we thought they have everything figured out, they have medical institutions that are well resourced to become the places of refuge in times of medical crises, they are crying foul of being strangled and choked by the Covid 19 virus. The so called developed countries are suffering from underfunded medical institutions, inadequate Personal Protection Equipment for their health workers, serious shortage of testing kits, as well as inadequate hospital facilities like hospital beds, ventilators etc. The poor, abused and mismanaged countries of the world like those in Africa and South America are left for the grace of God in the wake of such a crisis.

The economic effects of this epidemic are also very serious and devastating; the stock markets are plunging into all time low, to the world war 2 levels, there is rapidly rising unemployment as a result of the closure of businesses, industries and markets (more than six million jobs have been lost already in the USA, among other countries like Italy, Spain and the UK)

Numbers 16:41-50
“But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.
And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.”

Fourteen thousand seven hundred people were killed by God in Numbers sixteen, Why? Because they murmured against God and condemned Him for killing other people (God had killed more than two hundred and fifty men who had challenged his ordained ministers in the church), it was a rebellion against God which was led by Korah, Dathan and Abiram. God destroyed people by swallowing them into the earth alive, then again God consumed and destroyed two hundred and fifty people by fire. Then those who remained complained and then for the third time God sent a plague, a pestilence just like Covid 19 virus and it killed fourteen thousand seven hundred people.

A pestilence is meant to bring people to repentance because God brings a pestilence as a punishment for wickedness and rebellion against him. But if people murmur against God and complain about the pestilence; then God will either increase the lethality of the pestilence or bring another more deadly pestilence than the first one. A pestilence of fire destroyed 250 people in Numbers 16, people did not repent when they witnessed the death of the 250 people, then God brought ANOTHER pestilence, and what happened next? More people died from the next pestilence, the plague, 14 700 people!

What this means is that the world is supposed to come back to God, confess our sins and repent to God for our sins, if we do not do that then there are two things that are going to happen; 1) the Covid 19 will affect a lot more people than it has killed already, which means it will kill more than the 48 111 people in the next month or so, 2) God will bring another more deadly pestilence than Covid 19. We should not murmur against God and complain about the negative deadly effects of Covid 19, but rather we should thank God for stamping his authority and put our world to a complete stop so that we may give him attention, this is what he wants from us.

Number 11:31-35

”And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.”

If you read the whole book of Numbers 11, you will also see that the Israelites had murmured against God demanding for meat, they were sick and tired of the Bread (Manna) God was constantly and consistently providing them with. The LORD smote the people with a very great plague, it was the LORD, it was God who brought this very great plague and NOT Satan; whom the Christians and their false prophets are blaming.

As the TRUE BELIEVERS, we are NEVER going to elevate Satan and blame him for the death of God’s people, No! The devil has never yielded such power, he is a weakling, he is impotent, he has no such power, but Our God has. The Devil is a creature created by God and we are also creatures created by God, life and death are in God’s hands and not the Devil. Putting the Devil in charge of death weakens the position of God, it makes him inferior to Satan, because it means that once God creates something then he would not have the power to decide when that creature dies, but the Devil! That is something only the unbelievers can say, the true believers know that God is in control of both life and death.

1 Samuel 2:6

“The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.”

Jeremiah 25:30-33

”Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.”

Isaiah 11:1-4

” And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.”

Amos 4:6-10

“Amos 4:6 And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
Amos 4:7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
Amos 4:8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
Amos 4:9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
Amos 4:10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.”

Revelation 1:10-18

”I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

Deuteronomy 32:39

“See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.”

Jesus has the keys of hell and death, and this means that no one can enter through the door of death if the Lord Jesus Christ does not open the door of death for you.
Now as Jesus Revelation Ministries, we are fortunate that the God of heaven who is angry at this present world and bringing the calamity of pestilences upon it as a punishment for its wickedness, He is Our Father. Yes God is our Father and he delights in us, he is happy with us, because we are his children who are living by His word, we are obedient to his gospel and we live godly lives for which God is happy. He is angry at the world and Not at His Church, we are not of this world, and therefore the judgments meted on this world are not Wonders to us, but signs of his wrath, his anger and his condemnation of the wickedness of this world.

John 17:6-9

“I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
