*AS A CHRISTIAN, ARE YOU HUNGRY FOR MORE? 😇*

In *Romans 12* Paul the Apostle says the following:

"And so, *dear brothers* and *sisters,* I plead with you to *give your bodies to God* _because_ of *all he has done for you.*

Let them be a *living and holy sacrifice* - the kind He will find *acceptable.* This is *truly* the way to *worship him.*

*Don’t copy* the *behaviour* and *customs of this world,* but _let_ *God transform you into a new person* by *changing* the *way you think.*

*Then* you will *learn* to *know God’s will* for you, which is *good* and *pleasing* and *perfect.*

*Because of* the *privilege* and *authority* God has given me, I give *each of you* this *warning:*

* Don’t think you are *better* than you *really* are.
* Be *honest* in your *evaluation* of *yourselves,*
* *measuring yourselves* by the *faith* God has given us.

*Just as* our *bodies* have *many parts* and *each part* has a *special function,* so it is with *Christ’s body.*

We are *many parts* of *one body,* and *we all belong* to *each other.*

In His *grace,* *God* has given us *different gifts* for doing certain things *well.*

So *if God has given you:*

* the ability to *prophesy, speak out* with as much *faith* as *God has given you.*
* If your gift is *serving others,* serve them *well*
* If you are a *teacher* , teach *well.*
* If your gift is to *encourage* others, *be encouraging.*
* If it is *giving,* give *generously.*
* If God has given you *leadership* ability, take the *responsibility seriously.*
* And if you have a gift for *showing kindness* to others, *do it gladly.*

Don’t just *pretend* to *love* others... *Really* love them... *Hate* what is *wrong...*
*Hold tightly* to what is *good...*
*Love each* other with *genuine affection,* and *take delight* in *honouring* each other...

*Never be lazy,* but *work hard* and *serve the Lord enthusiastically.*

*Rejoice* in our confident *hope.* Be *patient* in *trouble,* and *keep on praying.*

When *God’s people* are in *need,* be ready to *help* them.

Always *be eager* to *practice hospitality.*

*Bless those* who *persecute you.* Don’t *curse* them; *pray* that God will *bless* them.

*Be happy* with those who are *happy,* and *weep* with those who *weep.*

*Live in harmony* with *each other.*

Don’t be *too proud* to *enjoy* the *company* of *ordinary people.*

And *don’t think you know it all!"*

*Wise words* from Paul, we should *apply it* all, *don't you think...* 😉

It's all about *Spiritual Growth.*

*IS YOUR CHURCH CHANGING SOCIETY?*

A. W. Tozer once said: "A time will come when instead of *shepherds* feeding the sheep, the Church will have *clowns* entertaining the goats."

If your *Church* is not sowing and growing - then it is dying... God's power has not run out - He is still the same yesterday, today, and forever. The *Church* is a "recruiting station" from which men should go out to fight the battles of the Lord, not a retirement home in which to live passively and enjoying an old age pension!

God doesn't need an army, just a few *obedient* Christian Soldiers:

"Mighty hero, the Lord is with you! Go with the *strength* you have... I am *sending* you!"

What do you *choose,* a *Bible based Church* or a *"feeling good Church?"*

Take care, your own *spiritual future* is at stake...

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES UPON YOU? 🙌

People often ask *what happens "when you are reborn?"* That is *the time when the Holy Spirit comes upon you...* And to me that was the *most exciting experience* I have ever had in *my life!* - Way back in Russia in 1996... 😇

When a person *receives the Holy Spirit,* he/she *experiences a profound transformation* that includes *gaining divine guidance, spiritual empowerment,* and a *deep sense of peace* and *connection to God.* 🤝

This includes *receiving power for service,* being *filled with love* and *holiness,* and *experiencing a renewal* that *helps fight against sin* and *promotes a new way of life.* ✝️

So, what really happens?

*Receiving power:* Believers are *empowered to share their faith,* perform *good Godly works,* and *have power over sin* and *fear.*

*Adoption as God's children:* The Holy Spirit *provides evidence* of *belonging to God,* enabling believers *to call Him "Father".*

*Guidance and truth:* The Holy Spirit *guides believers* into *truth* and *helps* them *understand scripture.*

*Inner renewal:* The Spirit *renews a person's mind* and *desires,* shifting them *away from deliberate sinful actions* towards *holiness.*

*Peace and love:* There will be a *feeling of intense peace, love,* and a *holy presence.*

*Spiritual awareness:* A *sense of spiritual awareness grows,* leading to a *desire to study the Scriptures* and *follow God's will.*

*Resist the devil and sin:* The desire to *resist all that is evil* becomes apparent, which is seen as *evidence of the Spirit's presence* and a *desire to be free.*

*Empowerment for service:* The *power of the Holy Spirit* is given for the *purpose of service* and *proclaiming the gospel,* helping to *build the Church.*

*A permanent resident:* The Holy Spirit is described as a *"permanent resident"* and a *seal of promise* in a *Believer's life.*

*Intercession:* The Holy Spirit *helps in times of weakness* by *interceding for Believers* and *guiding them in what to pray for.*

If you have *not* experienced such, *reach out to God* and ask Him to accomplish an *encounter with Jesus Christ,* just for *you!*

Ask me... It's absolutely *wow* and absolutely *life-changing!* Why struggle along if you could ' *ride the wave?'*

*SHOULD CHRISTIANS BE PART OF A "CHURCH?"* 💒

*Many Christians* are *unhappy* about the *functioning* of their church - the *preachings* are shallow, the *teachings* non existent and everything is *program driven...* 😒

Are there really still any *purpose driven churches* functioning according to *Scripture,* they ask... Should we really be part of a church with *no proper vision?* 🤷‍♂️

Let's analyse the situation...

When a person trusts *Jesus Christ* for *salvation,* he or she is made a *member of the body of Christ* (1 Corinthians 12:27).

For a *church body* to *function properly,* all of its “body parts” *need to be present* and *working* (1 Corinthians 12:14–20).

It’s *not enough* to just *attend* a church; we should *be involved* in some type of *ministry* to others, using the *spiritual gifts* God has given us (Ephesians 4:11–13).

A *believer* will *never* reach full *spiritual maturity* without having that outlet for his *gifts,* and we all need the *assistance* and *encouragement* of other believers (1 Corinthians 12:21–26).

*Church gathering* is the place where believers can:
* *love one another* (1 John 4:12),
* *encourage* one another (Hebrews 3:13),
* *“spur” one another* to *love* and *good works* (Hebrews 10:24),
* *serve* one another (Galatians 5:13),
* *instruct* one another (Romans 15:14),
* *honour* one another (Romans 12:10), and
* *be kind* and *compassionate* to one another (Ephesians 4:32).

For these reasons and more, *church attendance, participation,* and *fellowship* _should be regular_ aspects of *a believer’s life.*

*Weekly church attendance* is in no sense *“required”* for believers, _but_ someone who *belongs to Christ* _should have_ *a desire to worship* God, *receive His Word,* and *fellowship with other believers.*

*Jesus* is the *Cornerstone of the Church* (1 Peter 2:6), and *we* are “like living stones . . .. being built into a spiritual house *to be a holy priesthood,* offering *spiritual sacrifices* acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:5).

As the *building materials* of God’s “spiritual house,” *we* naturally have a *connection with one another,* and that connection is evident *every time* you the Church “go to church.”

*Thank God* for the specific ways He has built the church to function as a body.
*Thank Him* also for the ways that He has equipped you and other believers to fit within the body.

The world out there *desperately needs* "good godly Churches" – find one, be one!

ON AND ON LIFE GOES...

Lord come and take my hand!

Whatever tries us in any way every day, we should speak to our Lord about it... "Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you" (Ps 55:22).

Remember, the best cure for loneliness is developing an intimate relationship with Jesus... "Come near to God and He will come near to you" (James 4:8). Then you will go out with joy, and be led forth with peace!

Let the King bring you into His chambers where you will be safe and sound!

YOUR CONGREGATION... 💒

Believing in the Church changes more than just where we spend our Sundays...

It shapes how we see ourselves, our purpose, and the role we play in God’s kingdom.

We are not spectators watching from the sidelines — we are living stones being built together into the Church Jesus promised to establish. 🙌

The Church isn’t perfect people gathering in polished spaces... It’s ordinary people transformed by Jesus, growing through His Word, empowered by His Spirit, and advancing His kingdom together.

Be a member of a proper Bible-based Church!

THE ME-AND-MY OR THE YOU-AND-YOURS? 😏

As a Spirit-filled Christian there should be one main goal for this year, and one only... Yes, there are many other things to be done also, but...

The *most important ministry* task to be done is to *see people being saved* and to then *make these converts disciples* and *disciple-makers.* 😇

How will we, as *Christians,* answer God when we meet Him, when He asks why we did not listen to His command to go and make disciples?

We live in “a sea” of lost and ignorant people - here, there and everywhere... 😟

Reach out and talk about Jesus! Or are we not caring about others?

Have an active and blessed 2026 - Put Jesus First!

TYPES OF PASTORS IN TODAY’S CHURCH...

Not all pastors are the same...

They carry different burdens, different graces, and unfortunately, different weaknesses...

Here are *six types of pastors* you will find in today’s Church:

1.THE SHEPHERD PASTOR...
This one genuinely loves the people. They know your name, your story, your battles. They may not be the most gifted in preaching, but their heart is pure and their care is sincere. When you meet this kind of pastor - hold them dearly. They are rare.

2.THE BUSINESS PASTOR...
This one runs the Church like a corporation. Strategic planning, branding, structures, budgets, efficiency - everything is professional, everything is neat. The strength? Excellence and order. The danger? People can become “resources” instead of souls. Balance is needed.

3.THE ENTERTAINER PASTOR...
Crowds excite them more than transformation. The goal is to trend, to impress, to be adored. Sound effects, theatrics, hype, motivation - everything is about performance. People come excited but leave unchanged. This is the tragedy: charisma without depth.

4.THE PROPHETIC MYSTIC PASTOR...
Deep visions, intense spirituality, mysteries, encounters… The strength is sensitivity to the Spirit. The danger is drifting into extremism, manipulations, and unverified “God said.” When grounded in scripture, they are a blessing. When unbalanced, they become dangerous.

5.THE WOUNDED PASTOR...
This one preaches fire on Sunday… and cries alone on Monday... They shepherd while bleeding. They are hurt by betrayal, exhausted by demands, crushed by expectations. Many of them don’t even know they need healing. What they need is rest, therapy, and brothers who can hold them up.

And then...

6. THE CALLED BUT UNPREPARED PASTOR...
These ones genuinely love God but rushed into ministry without training, mentorship, or character formation. They carry zeal but lack structure. They mean well, but unintentionally cause harm. They need discipleship - not condemnation.

Every pastor fits somewhere in these categories, and some carry elements of all...

But here is the truth:

A healthy pastor is not defined by education, title, charisma, or crowd _but_ by character, accountability, growth, and submission to God’s process.

Follow God's Word 📖 and stand together 🤝. Insecure leaders surround themselves with "yes people". Effective leaders surround themselves with people who challenge them...

Remember, a Church is either program driven or it is purpose driven...

1st of September 2024... A New Season in the Southern Hemisphere has arrived - Spring is in the air! ❣️

I AM AS HAPPY AS CAN BE, BECAUSE... 🙌🏻

"But greater is He who is in us than him who is in the world. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loved us. Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings like eagles they shall run not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint.." 💪🏻

Thank you Jesus, with you holding my hand I'm ready for this new season of Spring... Let's grow, and let's go! 👍
