Ministry must not rest until it has blessed the next generation with the mantle of it's anointing..The greatest ministry of Elijah was not his miracles,but his son Elisha..Elisha healed lepers,parted waters,multiplied a few loaves of bread to feed a hundred men..Yet he would have lived and died behind a plow if Elijah had not given everything he had to his firstborn son in ministry.The Father in ministry is not threatened by the rise of the son's ministry above his own..Instead,he rejoices that he had a part in the development of something greater than he could have ever dreamed possible

Feeding on God's Word is for all believers, regardless of how long they have walked with the Lord, how much they have already heard, or how much knowledge they already possess. Every believer must feed on the Word of God in order to grow. This is required diet for everyone who desires to grow in God. Peter told the young believer "As new born babies, desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby" (1 Peter 2:2). This helps believers to be more knowledgeable in the things of God.
