When Jesus was tempted He did not try to rebuke the devil or bind him but He found the word of God to stand on and the devil was defeated. You may shout at the devil, dance, bind, rebuke and pray in tongues, all those are useless and won't shake the devil a bit. He has you until you feed not on break alone but on every word that comes from God and it is the word of God that only can bring sharp penetrating rebuke on the devil and he will "flee from you"

What I am trying to say is, rebuking the devil and binding him and telling him many things won't do him anything, it is not the devil that need to go from you but you need to draw near the Lord because it is His presence that he cannot stand not your words and rebukes & bindings. And also the power is not in your words but in the word of God which is yours to study💁🏿‍♂️

*If you don't read the word you have nothing against the wiles of the devil*, you may bind & rebuke all you can, but you just clearly show that the devil has you in his grip🚮

If you do not read the word of God it will be necessary in your judgements to be speaking to the devil, confronting him, rebuking him and binding him, but if you read God's word it will bring you nigh to God and you'll be able to resist the devil through listening to God and not the devil (James 4:7,8) the reason why you may want to rebuke the devil is because you're listening to him and not God because you do not read His word.
