IN LOVING MEMORY OF KOKO LILLIAN KODUPO SERITE – ELDER OF SESHEGO BAPTIST CHURCH

With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, the family of Seshego Baptist Church mourns the passing of our beloved Koko Lillian Kodupo Serite, faithful elder and devoted servant of the Lord.

On 18th May 2026, the Lord called home His daughter whose life was a testimony of unwavering devotion to Christ and to His church. The pulpit feels quieter, the prayer meetings feel emptier, and our hearts ache deeply for the loss of a mother in the faith who poured her life into this body of believers.

Koko Serite was an elder, a pillar, and a spiritual mother to many of us.

She led with wisdom, prayed with power, and loved without condition. Those of us who sat under her ministry will never forget the piercing clarity of her voice when she stood on the pulpit—every word carrying conviction, every exhortation stirring our hearts toward Christ. She had a heart that would not rest until she had lifted both the young and the old before the throne of God in prayer. Her devotion was not in words alone, but in a life lived faithfully before God and His people.

We mourn with the Serite family, yet we stand on the hope of the resurrection. Koko Serite fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Now she rests from her labor, and her works follow her into glory.

To the family, know that Seshego Baptist Church stands with you. We will honor Koko’s legacy by continuing the work she loved and by holding fast to the God she served so faithfully.
