God is all-powerful and all-knowing. He is more powerful and way more wiser than all your enemies combined. There is absolutely nothing that happens in the entire universe that is beyond the control of God. The same power that controls the universe also sustains your life. There is nothing that the devil can do in this world and in your life without God’s approval. Therefore, accept anything that happens to you as coming directly from the hand of God, and realize that it is for a divine purpose. Know and understand that when God chooses not to stop the evil plans of the enemy, He has plans to turn the evil plans to His glory or to your advantage. You can be sure that whatever you are going through right now has been allowed by God for His glory and for your eventual good, and to fulfill divine plans and purposes for the greater good of the Kingdom of God. God is too wise to allow His children to experience pointless pain or face trivial trials. God has a purpose for your pain, and He sees a triumphant story in your trials. Embrace what God is doing in your life, knowing that He never makes a mistake and His grace is sufficient in your circumstances. Let your prayer be, “Lord I may not understand why I am going through what I am going through, but I choose to trust you anyway. Have your way in my life and let your will be done. Amen!” “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:6) God will never let you face anything that doesn’t glorify His name, advance His Kingdom or benefit you eventually. – Isaac Kubvoruno

The power of the Holy Spirit does not come as a reward. Power is not a trophy at the end of a marathon. We need power at the start if we are to run the marathon for God. We may be disgraceful, perhaps stumbling in our walk, but that makes it so necessary for us to receive the Holy Spirit. He is not given on condition that we are perfect. He is given because we are not perfect. He has come because we need Him - for the best and for the worst of us. Just repeat in your heart: Holy Spirit I really need you!

I found out that the greatest challenge of knowledge is overconfidence, pride, satisfaction of results and ego. Many people believe that they are way too knowledgeable to run a home or handle any person. And to me, the most difficult thing to handle is people (me and others).

The truth is that marriage is not an institution for specialised people, it is a place of learning for people that believe that the are empty and want to be filled by God Himself. And here, you don't learn from any man. All men are students in marriage, the Holy Spirit is the only teacher. And our learning from Him is continuous. Every morning is a new opportunity to learn new things from the Holy Spirit. Do you know the most surprising things? He chooses His vessels and event. He can use any tool for passing His message. He can choose any event He so pleased to pass His message.

I learnt one thing when I was searching for knowledge on how to handle the responsibility of marriage. And by God's grace, I am still learning and searching. I learnt that likes attracts likes. Consciously or unconsciously, you attract what you are. Metal attracts metal. Wood attracts wood. I learnt that to be the best man I have to learn and to need the best woman, I must become a best man. I also learnt that the easiest way of marketing yourself for marriage is to be irresistible and compatible. It is to be quality both spiritual, emotional and in the mind. The quality is not on the outside, it is on the inside. The outside attracts the person, the inside keeps the person. I also learnt that it is one thing to get married but way different thing to stay married. I don not want to just enter a home, I want to be a home myself. Brethren, this desire took me to searching and learning. I never missed marriage seminar, I don't miss marriage books and messages. As a matter of fact, I don't just go for any knowledge, it must be knowledge that is compatible with me and my marriage vision. And I learnt and learnt and learnt. I listened to messages and I listened.

Perhaps, because I had a challenge of enjoying a working marriage. Perhaps, because I want to have a love story and be the best marriage ever. Perhaps, I needed and desire the best home. Perhaps, I believed that I am empty of knowledge and want to be filled with adequate knowledge about marriage. Perhaps I needed help and was open enough to the Holy Spirit to fill me. My reasons were too innumerable to mention. I never wanted the marriage atmosphere I grew up with. It is a challenge to beat where I am coming from. That instigated my deepest desires to know and be sure with what I know. I was broken down and was humble enough to admit that what I know may not be the best to get the best. I was flexible with knowledge until I got the best.

I made Holy Spirit my mentor and was sensitive enough to accept people He brought my way for such lesson class easily. Please readers, I beg you to be humble and meek with knowledge. Don't be too confident with the knowledge you have unless it is the Holy Spirit and even if He is your source, you need daily updates to stand strong. I am telling the truth passionately.

Can I shock you? Family Unit is not your message, it is first mine. I decided to share what the Holy Spirit is teaching me to you. Whether you believe it or not, it was never yours in the first place, the owner which happens to be me have taken it. And from what I am seeing, I am so comfortable with its results. I have asked my wife again and again how I am doing with my learning and I think I am better than yesterday.

We shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free (John 8:32). After 6 years in marriage I felt just like I did the very first day I saw my wife. Oh, I so much love her now than before and it is getting so intense. I can't stop telling her how I love her, it is becoming so emotional in me. It was a desire, now I reality. I don't know how I make her feel, but I think she would want to marry me again if she had a second chance, I think so. I am not yet there, the Holy Spirit is not done with me yet. Every morning, He unfolds catching sights of the greatest marriage and I am seriously picking it's highlights.

There is no all knowing in marriage no matter how many years he or she has been in marriage. Emotions have made sure that we are not exactly each others best learning points both good and bad.

Meekness is the heartbeat of knowledge.

The fact Remains : God’s Principles remain the same!
Dear Restoration Members and Christians as a whole.

It's often not that we're doing something wrong. It's that we're not doing enough of what is right. God says in His word that my people, good people, perish because of lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6, “My people perish (are destroyed) for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge.”

You have just entered a new year. And I believe 2020 is going to be a supernatural year for you, a year of seeing God's greatness, but God has a specific way of doing things. You see God Himself all throughout His Word said, “Hey, all first belong to Me!”(32 times) He lays claim to it. He says that first or holy— is the irrevocable giving over to God things that belong to Him, that He lays claim to.

It's what we call the Principle of First Fruits.

It comes from a root word which means birthright(Genesis 49 v 25-29). So, all firstborn belong to God. All first of the harvest belong to God. All first of New Beginnings belong to God… Everything that is a first belongs to God. Think about this in Joshua 7: The children of Israel have just entered in and they've conquered, they've gone across the Jordan. They've conquered and now they're getting to their first city. It's called Ai. And suddenly where they were having victory after victory… they get defeated. Why do they get defeated? The Bible says that Joshua falls down and he begins to cry out and he's praying and God says, Joshua, stop praying, stop crying. He said, Listen, the problem is with Achan and he's touched the cursed thing. What’s a curse mean? It means devoted things. And devoted is the same word as a first fruit. So anytime you touch something that is first, something that belongs to God, it brings admonition, a reprimand, some form of correction or order into our life.

As we have entered January, we recognize that there are two calendars in the earth; God’s Hebraic calendar and the Gregorian calendar we use. January is the first, the beginning of a new year for us in the Western or African world. Let us give to God what belongs to Him, the first hours of our day, the first month of the year, the first of our increase, the first in every area of our life!

In Deuteronomy 16:16 God says, “Do not stand before me empty handed.”

In Leviticus 3 God says, “all first belong to Him,” …all the way through the New Testament there was a practice of first fruits. Anytime there was a first of something, it belongs to God. In fact, when you get into the book of Acts, and you start to really study the early chapters, you understand that it had to do with the First Fruits.

As Christians, when the Word of God clearly states something- we are obedient! And the Bible references first fruits or first things or devoted things no less than 32 times…

“Honor the Lord with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase” (Proverbs 3:9)…

The first represents the total. All firsts belong to God! and there is a reason why… “Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow…” (Proverbs 3:9–10 NKJV).

Right now, I declare that your obedience to honoring God will cause your barns to be filled with plenty and your vats to overflow in the name of Jesus!

“When you come into the land which I gave you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest” (Leviticus 23:9-10)…

This divine establishment of God’s order is actually the root, the foundation that governs the rest. “For if the first fruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches” (Romans 11:16 NKJV).

God claims the FIRST of ALL THINGS! It rightfully belongs to Him. When we apply the Principle of First Fruits, we see that all firsts should be given to the Lord: the first of the day, week (Sabbath), month, and the first of our harvest. It is a principle…

Jesus declared to us, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness... all these things will be added to you,” (Matthew 6:33). God adds the “things” to you when the foundation is in place to be built upon. When we honor God with our FIRST FRUITS, He will unlock the ‘things” for the remainder of the year- your 2020 will be A YEAR OF God's Holiness and Laughter (Psalm 37:13.). God will defeat your enemies because He knows it's Judgment day.

You can put God first in every area of your life by:

PRAYING: Give God your first thoughts in the today.

PLANNING: Where do you want to be 365 days from today?

MAKING AN OFFERING: When you give your first fruits offering, you are planting a seed for the remainder of the year. There is a greater portion that awaits you in honor of your first fruits offering!

I challenge you to put First Things First and honor God! I challenge you to start activating the Word by offering God your First Fruits as a seed for your harvest in 2020. I challenge you to set aside time for him every day. Maybe you feel led to fast for a portion of this first month… And although it is going to unlock abundant blessing all around your life, it is first and foremost about honoring God because He is worthy!

As you sacrifice your offering to Him, you set a precedent of what will come. You release a great promise of provision as a result of your obedience. Everyone is to give their very best offering!

According to Ezekiel 44, I will raise your offering up as a sacrifice, believing God to pour out His promises through your obedience! “The best of all the first fruit and of all your special gifts will be given to the priests. You are to give them the first portion so that a blessing may rest on your household” (Ezekiel 44:30).

I want to bless you at the first of this month when you give your very Best First Fruits Offering! With your best first fruits seed today.

Why? Because God’s principles remain the same!
