Power of God Assemblies, established in 1991 under the leadership of Bishop S.C.

Mthembu, is a growing movement with 88 branches across KZN, EC, GP & WC, advancing God’s Kingdom through the Word, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit. The purpose of the Church is inter alia to equip the saints , through set ministries , for the work of God's Kingdom.

We continue to keep the Phoswa family and the entire church in our prayers during this time. May the Lord grant comfort, strength, and peace to all who mourn.

With deep sorrow and reverence, we announce the passing of our beloved Apostle JP Phoswa.
A faithful servant of God, a pillar in the house of the Lord, and a true shepherd to many.

Apostle Phoswa has gone to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith, wisdom, and love.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7

Details of the memorial service will be communicated in due course.
