This morning, the Seth Mokitimi Methodist Seminary Choir joined the Natal West Midlands Region Choir in a sacred expression of fellowship and communal worship as they prepare for the October Music Association Competition. Through our shared voices, we embody the Christian calling to koinonia; living in mutual love, service, and belonging, affirming that our individual gifts find their fullest expression in community. As we journey toward the competition, we sing not merely as separate choirs, but as one people of God.

From 29 May - 05 June, the SMMS Community commits to working together to end violence against children. We will raise awareness, teach, pray, and act to create CHILD SAFE CHURCHES.

"Cold mornings shouldn’t mean painful steps. Too many children head to school without proper shoes, and we believe every learner deserves comfort and dignity on their journey.
This winter, the SMMS community is rallying support to put strong, warm shoes on little feet. It’s more than footwear, it’s hope, confidence, and a reminder that they are not forgotten." - SEC Chairperson

Winter shouldn’t mean cold feet and painful walks to school.
The Seth Mokitimi Methodist Seminary community is collecting school shoes for children walking long distances barefoot or in torn shoes.
If you’re able, please consider donating a pair or contributing to the drive by 30 July 2026.
A small act of kindness can keep a child warm, safe, and proud to walk to school.

Friends, pray with us today.

Gracious and loving God, You are the creator of all, the One who calls, and who equips for ministry. We bring before You all women ministers who You have created, called and gifted. Thank You for the women who said “yes” to Your call despite obstacles, sacrifice, and struggle. Lord we celebrate their sacrifice and praise their willingness to say yes to the call You have placed on their lives. Thank You for anointing them for such a time as this.
As they continue to labor in Your vineyard, strengthen them and remind them that their work is never in vain. Fill their mouths with words of life, and continue to guide their steps. May their lives and ministries always be a reflection of Your profound love. As we celebrate 50 years of women ordination in the MCSA, may we as a Church continue to recognize, affirm, and nurture the gifts You have placed within them. In the name of Christ, who calls and sends us all,
