It is with great sadness that we have received the news of demise of Pastor Ray McCauley the Rhema founder at 75

As we mourn his death and the loss of a great ecumenical leader in him, we pray that the churches will continue his legacy to work for the betterment of the poor and marginalised people.

On behalf of the Ethopian Church of South Africa, I express sincere condolences to the bereaved family and members of the Rhema. The church is greatful of the role he has played in mentoring the current president of the church.

May his memory be eternal and his legacy continues.

God won't save you from some experiences, not because he is not all powerful but because if he save you from that experience you won't be able to save millions of people from that same experience, because the answer to save those people depend on you going through that experience.

The strength of your position will always be tested by opposition.if you decide to focus on the opposition, you will end up losing your position.

We see the spirit of Persistence in the life of DAVID WHEN HE REFUSED TO FOCUS ON THE OPPOSITION WHICH IN HIS CASE WAS GOLIATH. He saw Goliath but His FOCUS was not on the size or the strength of Goliath.

Goliath to Him was conquerable and defeatable. Because he refused on the CIRCUMSTANCES and Choose to focus on God and He became triumphant and was declared a victory.

If you want to enjoy the trophies of victory, you have to focus on God and Victory is assured for you.

Persistent people know that God has Greater plan and it will always emerge regardless of what they presently face.

Child of God you have a task to fulfill. You have a God- given assignment that you should not be willing to surrender to defeat. Know that by Faith and being persistent as you remain focused on God, victory is about to come your way in Jesus Christ might Name.

TOPIC: "DON’T GO FOR THE BEST BUT BE THERE TO DO THE BEST

Jesus didn’t go for the best but was there to do the best ( To turn water into wine).Jesus didn’t go there to enjoy the wedding but to make the difference( turn water to wine) for the benefit of the people.

David didn’t go there for the best but was there to do the best ( to kill Goliath).

David didn’t go there like any other Israelites but he was there for greater purpose (to kill Goliath).

Main points: Be in the world to change the world and Not world changing you.

Be in the environment to make difference for the good of the environment.

Be in the ceremony to make the ceremony memorable and to be told in generations to come and Not to be forgotten the next morning.

Happy Nurses Day to all our nurses!

On behalf of the Ethopain Church of South Africa and especially all patients and their loved ones, we want to thank you for the wonderful service you have rendered.

Nursing is not just a profession but it is primarily a vocation – a vocation of love. You need a heart to be a real nurse. You must love humanity and be able to identify with the sick, to see them as persons who need our love and care. Like Francis who kissed the wounds of the l***r, you are invited to see the suffering Christ in those whom you nurse. As our Lord says in Matt 25:40 – “In so far as you did it to the least of my brethren, you did it to me.

Nurses are the backbone of our health system and have been at the forefront of our fight against many viruses and diseases. Your sacrifices and those of your loved ones have not gone unnoticed.

We therefore cannot over emphasize the critical role played by nurses in our health system. This is against the backdrop of a collapsing public health system marked by severe understaffing and dilapidated infrastructure.

Even against these challenges nurses in South Africa have remained resilient and have demonstrated remarkable dedication, commitment and passion towards the health of our nation.

Today, we have an opportunity to celebrate our nurses. We encourage you to acknowledge the good work you are doing.

Nobody’s perfect. We all "err" and need forgiveness. All people commit sins and make mistakes. God forgives them, and people are acting in a godlike (divine) way when they forgive.

When a person commits an error, he is acting as a normal human being. When the person who was wronged responds with forgiveness, he is acting in line with divine tendencies - Galatians 5:22-23

To forgive is divine. No human is perfect.Never write off those whom God Himself hasn't written off.

God’s forgiveness is for people and human forgiveness is for people.God’s forgiveness is personal and human forgiveness is personal.

God’s forgiveness is for wrongdoing and human forgiveness is for wrongdoing.
God makes forgiveness available to the wrongdoers and humans can make forgiveness available to their wrongdoers.

God’s forgiveness may not be recognized or accepted and human forgiveness may not be recognized or accepted.

God’s forgiveness releases the wrongdoer and human forgiveness releases the wrongdoer.

God’s forgiveness brings healing and human forgiveness brings healing. We are called to be like Jesus who has forgiven us.

Forgive those who have sinned against you because they don't know what they doing.

Dear Members and Partners.

The Ethopain Church of South Africa was one of the first churches on the second week of March 2020 to suspend its sunday services. The church reiterates that suspension of all the church gatherings because of the coronavirus pandemic was undertaken "not out of fear, but out of our deepest respect for human life and health."

"As disciples of Jesus, we are called to be instruments of God's protection for the vulnerable and the common good.

"While we share the desire to bring people back to church services as quickly as possible, we will wait to schedule our public worship when it is safe and we are prepared to do so. The church will not resume its sunday services except church members funerals. We ask our members to protect themselves and protect others.

The reality of this coronavirus pandemic is that it is a very dangerous illness and the virus is easy to be passed to one another. We didn't know exactly what was the reality and we started seeing the consequences of so many people dying and so many people getting sick, so that's why we had to be extremely careful in taking care of one another. All branches of the church are closed.

The guidance is informed by church doctrine, expert medical advice, state and local recommendations for maintaining public safety and prevention community contagion of the COVID-19 virus.
