Built by God: Entering the Supernatural
The Scriptures remind us that God has always desired a people who are set apart—not for isolation, but for divine purpose. In Leviticus 20:26, the Lord declares that His people are holy and separated unto Him. This separation is not weakness; it is preparation. It is the foundation upon which divine strength is built.
Jesus further clarifies this principle in Matthew 20:26, where He teaches that greatness in God’s kingdom is not measured by status, but by servanthood. True authority flows from submission to God, and true power is revealed through obedience. When God builds a person, He does not merely elevate them—He establishes them.
This truth is powerfully echoed in Acts 20:32, a deeply emotional and significant passage written by Dr. Luke. The verse records Apostle Paul’s farewell to the elders of Ephesus. This was no ordinary goodbye; it was a final spiritual impartation. Paul entrusts them to God and to “the word of His grace, which is able to build you up.” The Greek term often referenced by scholars here, G2026, speaks of being built, strengthened, and established from within. Paul was not urging the church to rely on human wisdom, but to be built on the strength of God Himself.
As we look toward 2026, this message becomes increasingly urgent. Survival—spiritually, emotionally, and even purposefully—is not guaranteed if we are not built in God’s strength. Knowledge alone is insufficient. Scripture that cannot be demonstrated becomes powerless. However, when the Spirit of God is active, life is produced. The Spirit does not move aimlessly; He acts to reveal glory.
A believer who is built on divine power is no longer ordinary. Fearlessness replaces uncertainty. Boldness replaces hesitation. This courage does not come from intellect or experience, but from knowing what one carries as a child of God. Once a person understands the power within them, there is no turning back. Even in the face of darkness, they remain unshaken.
The Gospel according to John provides a prophetic lens through which we can understand the nature of 2026. After the crucifixion of Jesus, His body was placed in a sealed tomb, guarded by soldiers and secured by a stone. Everything appeared final, closed, and impossible. Yet when the Spirit of power descended, it entered the tomb while it was still shut. The resurrection did not wait for permission. When the Spirit entered, even the stone that sealed the tomb recognised that another Stone had risen.
This becomes a profound revelation for the coming year: what God has ordained will enter—even while things appear closed.
John 20:26 records that “after eight days,” Jesus appeared again to the disciples. When He first revealed Himself, Thomas was absent. Though informed, he doubted. In the same way, many were informed in 2025, yet chose disbelief. Still, God did not cancel the manifestation. Eight days later, Jesus appeared again—this time ensuring that the doubter was present.
This pattern speaks prophetically. From the first to the eighth day, something is set in motion. By the eighth day, manifestation follows. January 8, 2026, carries symbolic weight: what was questioned will be revealed, what was doubted will be witnessed, and what was mocked will stand visible. God desires that even those who do not believe in the anointing must be present to witness what only He can do.
The disciples, fearful and discouraged, locked themselves inside. Voices around them had declared failure and limitation. Yet Jesus entered while the doors were locked. He did not knock. He did not request access. He appeared among them and spoke peace. This peace was not passive—it was victorious. It was the very force that overcame fear.
This becomes a prophetic declaration for 2026: you will enter without an open door. Permission will not be required. Approval will not be necessary. Whether in business, education, career, or calling—you will enter while it is locked, and you will prosper.
The Holy Spirit declares that 2026 is the year of the Supernatural. This power is omnipotent. It is the same Jesus who rose from the grave—unstoppable and undefeated. God will intervene in every aspect of life. The supernatural will interrupt the natural, and divine order will replace human limitation.
Divinity is waiting.
Now is the time to be built by God, to rise without fear, and to step forward in power.
Arise people of God.
Amen🙏
