TROUBLE is not a sign of failure or lack of faith.

When you find yourself facing something, it does not mean that you have failed or do not faith. Remember that scripture in Job 5:7, alludes that "man is born to trouble", therefore we are bound to face trouble in this world.

Even the righteous face storms. Job was a righteous man, the enemy had no hold over him, but regardless of being righteous God permitted the enemy to test Job.

If Moses had jumped, he would not have become the deliverer of Israel.
If David had jumped, he would not have become the king of Israel.
If the disciples had jumped, they would not have become apostles.

DISCERNING TRUE vs FALSE PROPHETS

Not everyone who prophesies is from God. The Bible warns us clearly—so we must learn to discern.

Here are key signs:

1. CHRIST-CENTERED MESSAGE

A true prophet points you to Jesus—not to themselves.
A false prophet builds followers around their name and voice.

2. FRUIT (LIFESTYLE)

“By their fruits you shall know them.”
Look for humility, integrity, and holiness—not pride, immorality, or greed.

3. USE OF POWER

A true prophet does not control or manipulate.
If someone uses fear, curses, or intimidation—that is a red flag.

4. ACCOUNTABILITY

True prophets can be corrected and tested.
False ones avoid correction and justify errors.

5. SOUND DOCTRINE

God will never contradict His Word.
Any “revelation” outside Scripture is dangerous.

6. FOCUS

True prophets build disciples.
False prophets build personal empires.

7. SPIRIT BEHIND IT

God’s Spirit brings conviction, peace, and truth.
Not fear, confusion, or oppression.

FINAL TRUTH:

Not everyone who prophesies is approved by God.
Test everything. Hold on to what is good.

Stay grounded in the Word—not just in prophecy.
