Good morning friends
It pains my heart to see pastors making fun of others on the social platform like this one, simply because they think they are more relevant, smarter and have achieved better than others.
Dear minister/pastor, do not ever use the platform God created for you to preach the Gospel, to advance your pride and look down on those who have materially achieved less than you. Do not mock them.
For the fact that God has revealed their lack of resources to you, don't you think that God has done so for you to assist them with your abundance of resources, without exposing their weaknesses on social media? If you can't help them nor even pray for them, then leave them alone.
It has been now many times I see the so called rich pastors making fun of those with smaller congregations, less resources, uneducated, churches in poverty stricken areas, etc.
Please stop this evil act. The Church belongs to Christ, not you. He calls whosoever He likes, according to His purpose and standards, not our standards. We must respect and support all those called into ministry to spread His Gospel. More respect to those who are able to do so under very difficult situations with no material resources like money, transport, etc.
We are called to preach the Gospel with love and tolerance. We must show the love of Christ to the world through our actions and speeches. Let us not bring each other down, please.
Many people have resorted to this trending slogan, "I have left the church not God". By the look of things, our conduct as leaders has led to the trend of the slogan.
The Church must be a place where every person, irrespective of class or status, must experience the love of Jesus Christ. People must find peace and soul restoration from our speech and actions, and be willing to reconnect with Christ.
This attack of pastor to pastor destroys the credibility of the Church in the eyes of many people. How can we persuade people to follow Christ when our actions are displaying the opposite.
My apologies if I have offended anyone, but sometimes the truth needs to be told even when it hurts. My heart bleeds from these things. We can do better as leaders of the most divine Institution, the Church.
