BREAKING NEWS from West Africa and Western Cape!!
Two of our team members Pastors Adri Theron and Quintus Groenewald travelled to Burkina Faso, West Africa, to present Firewall Evangelism training.
They were hosted by Pastor Timothy Gbo, Regional Superintendent, Western Region; Franco Phone, as well as the Overseer of Burkina Faso, Pastor Abel Bazi. The training took place in Mouséo, about 80 km north of Ouagadougou. Seventy people, pastors, evangelists and mainly young people, attended the Firewall evangelism training. After receiving the training, 17 teams did the practical evangelism with Heart of Man charts. These teams presented the Gospel of Jesus Christ to 460 people and 27 gave their hearts to Jesus Christ.
There was great joy and gratitude towards the Lord for doing something so great in His kingdom. Wheels for God’s Word and Word on Wheels provided the evangelism material to the different Churches that will be utilised to evangelise and plant new Churches. 16 Bicycles were donated as well as money to purchase 250 Bibles.
We praise and worship our Heavenly Farther for His faithfulness, protection and provision on this trip.
FIREWALL EVANGELISM TRAINING in WESTERN CAPE. Rylands.
On Saturday, 2 May 2026, Wheels for God’s Word presented the Firewall Evangelism training at the Rylands Full Gospel Church in Cape Town. The aim is to serve, equip and grow the local churches of the Peninsula region of the Full Gospel Church of God in Southern Africa.
This was the second training session, and it was also attended by the Regional Overseer, Pastor Jimmy Francis. Pastor Ryan Laubscher from regional management arranged the training hosted by Pastor Marlene Cox, senior pastor at the Rylands FGC. Pastor Adri Theron presented the training. Forty participants from various assemblies, including their pastors, attended the training. Due to rainy weather, the practical outreach could not take place. Most participants were ordinary members of the various assemblies who were obedient to the Great Commission, and the time was well spent in thoroughly teaching them the Heart of Man method of evangelism.
During the feedback session, pastors and participants alike testified that they always wanted to evangelise, but lacked the knowledge, confidence, and tools to do it.
After the training and dedicated time in roleplay, they were fully equipped to return to their own neighbourhoods to evangelise. Many of these participants live in areas where gangsterism is rampant, and they realise that only the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bring about change. We thank God for His continuous favour upon His disciples and disciple makers.
