Camp Worship

This weekend 10 years ago, we did the last Camp Worship. We did it for about 12years every year. It is a memory I look back to fondly. So many people that is still part of my life formed part of it. Our non profit Artisan Ministries and all its members, are still close friends. I believe this event was impactful. Many lives were changed. About 150-200 young people from various towns churches and schools gathered. We ministered from school to school, from church to church in promotion for this “time out” with God. I have such great memories. Thank to all who was involved

Suzy and Kamran Yaraei are hosting 3 worship nights in Brackenfell 16 -18 Oct at Everyday Community.
Suzy has been a mentor to various well-known Worship leaders across the globe. Such as Jenn Johnson, Kim Walker Smith and John Mark McMillian.

This song was recorded in Gavin parents church (at the time, now lead by Ps Rudi Young) Light and Life in Paarl. It was not recorded on high level gear.
It was however mixed with great gear and plug ins at UPPERROOM STUDIOS.

Song story number 2:
Hope was originally recorded in 2014 for an event called Camp Worship with the same theme HOPE. Here different churches joined for a weekend of JUST WORSHIP. The event had major testimonies that were usually shared on the Sunday of the event. These testimonies ranged from people's connection in worship being restored, people's outlook a vision on life restored, suicidal and other tendencies broke. We even have had people testify of physical healing. The song was written from a place trusting God for healing and that He will always be true to His character.

This song has already been written in 2013, and the majority of the tracks were recorded in 2014. I recently found the old recording, and decided to mix it for release, as it was never officially released. We only added Mandolin played by the awesome Werner Carstens.
