PRAISE AND WORSHIP SERVICE .๐ฅ๐ฅโค
Sermon by โ Moderator Phandle
She read from Luke 16:19-31
Mod Phandle challenged us to look beyond outward appearances and understand the value that God places upon the human soul. The rich man had everything the world could offerโcomfort, luxury, and abundanceโyet he lived without compassion for Lazarus, who sat daily at his gate. Lazarus appeared insignificant in the eyes of men, but precious in the eyes of God. When death came, their situations were reversed. Lazarus was comforted in Abraham's bosom while the rich man experienced regret and torment.
This message reminds us that what people see is not always what God sees. Many looked at Lazarus and saw poverty, suffering, and weakness, but God saw faithfulness and a heart that trusted Him. Likewise, there are many who may seem overlooked, forgotten, or rejected by society, yet they are treasured by God. Material possessions cannot purchase salvation, nor can earthly success guarantee eternal life. God desires a humble, sincere, and repentant heart. The Lord welcomes those who come to Him broken, wounded, and burdened because He delights in restoring lives. Let us therefore pursue eternal treasures rather than temporary pleasures, knowing that our greatest reward is found in Christ.
MESSAGE โ Apostle T.D. Mofokeng
THEME: "A Time for Introspection"
The message called every believer to examine their own life before God. We often think of riches in terms of money, yet there are many forms of wealth. Some are rich in prayer, rich in encouragement, rich in wisdom, rich in serving others, and rich in spiritual gifts. God has given each believer something valuable to contribute to His Kingdom. The challenge is to use those gifts for His glory rather than for competition or self-promotion.
The Apostle reminded us that Christianity is not a race against one another but a journey toward Christ. Along the way, many distractions seek to delay us, but we must keep our focus on heaven. Just as a bank card must have a functioning chip to access its benefits, our spiritual lives must be aligned with God's purpose if we are to receive what He has prepared for us. Psalm 51:10 teaches us to pray for a clean heart because true transformation begins within.
We were also reminded of the power of waiting. Even those who possess great wealth must wait their turn. Likewise, there are seasons when God requires us to wait upon Him. Waiting is not punishment; it is preparation. The God we serve welcomes all who come to Him. His invitation remains the same: "Come as you are." Yet when we encounter Him, we should never remain the same. Through His grace, He cleanses, restores, and transforms lives. Closed doors, impossible situations, and difficult circumstances are no obstacle to God. The same Jesus who entered a room with closed doors still has the power to make a way where there seems to be no way.

THEME: "Return to the One Who Can Repair What Is Broken"
The sermon reminded us that when something valuable is damaged, it must be taken to the right place for repair. A vehicle does not repair itself; it is taken to a qualified technician who understands how it was designed. In the same way, when our hearts, minds, and spirits are wounded, we must return to God, our Creator, who understands every part of us.
Many people carry hidden wounds, disappointments, and struggles. Some appear strong on the outside while silently fighting battles within. Yet God knows exactly what needs to be restored. We were challenged to remain teachable and humble before God. No one should become so spiritually mature that they believe they no longer need correction, instruction, or growth. The Christian life is a continual process of transformation.
The message also reminded us that God prepares His people for spiritual warfare. Just as soldiers are trained before entering battle, believers must be equipped through prayer, faith, and the Word of God. When news came that Lazarus had died, many believed it was too late. Yet Jesus arrived and demonstrated that no situation is beyond God's power. What appears dead can live again. What appears hopeless can be restored. The earth and everything in it belongs to God, and His power remains unlimited.
CONCLUSION - Apostle T.D Mofokeng
THEME: "Walk in Love, Holiness, and Unity"
As we conclude this blessed service, we are reminded to return to the ancient pathsโthe paths of prayer, holiness, humility, obedience, and sincere devotion to God. This is a season for self-examination and spiritual renewal. Whatever hinders our relationship with God must be surrendered at His feet. Every burden, every bitterness, every hidden struggle, and every obstacle must be laid before Him.
The church is called to be a family united in love. Brotherly love and sisterly love must continue among us. We must encourage one another, pray for one another, forgive one another, and walk together in unity. The world is filled with division and competition, but the Body of Christ is called to reflect the love of Jesus.๐๐ผโค
