Jesus healed, forgave and delivered us out of the kingdom of darkness so that He might bring us in. We need to be reminded about the goal or the purpose of God He had for us. Deliverance, Healing etc are the means to fulfill that purpose and not the end. So don't stay there and miss many things available for you In Christ.

TRUE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST

[KJV] Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

The Bible says that if any Man be in Christ He is a new Creation, old things has passed away and all things has become new. This is talking about the real you which is the spirit. Jesus when talking Nicodemus showed him that what is born of spirit is spirit, and that which is born of flesh is flesh. He was answering the question from Him which He asked, how can I go back to my Mother's womb and be born again. We can clearly see that salvation start from inside.

Immediately we have received that new life, we must set our desires on the things above. In order to do that we must deny ourselves from doing our own will but the will of the one who has called us. Jesus said if any Man would come after me, he must deny Himself and follow me. This means leaving the things which you used to do in order to do what He wants you to do. This calls us to leave things which are not in line with the salvation which we have received.

Denying yourself also means leaving your friends who are not born again. Salvation that we have received must control where we go, our friends and what we do. The bible say, " [KJV] Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Denying yourself also means seeking God's way of doing things. Pray today that the Lord helps you to deny yourself and take up your cross and follow Him.

YOU NEED EVERY PIECE OF GOD’S ARMOR

[NLT] Ephesians 6:13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing."

Our heavenly Father has provided for everyone of His children the armor which they must put on. Why? Because He knows that we are going to face tests and trials. He doesn't want any of His Children to be defeated by the enemy. But it is our responsibility to ensure that we put on every piece of God’s armor. (Ephesians. 6:14-18)

This is the right time to put on every piece of God’s armour. Don't wait for the battles before you can put them on. Every armor has its own work in our lives. So never leave one of this armors of God because they will help you through during the trying times. Why do people loose the battles of life? Because they did not put on every piece of God’s armor.

Take your time today to dig deep in God's Word and you will find this armors of God. Immediately you find them, start to applying them in your life. The Bible says that our weapons of warfare are mighty through God. With the armor of God you can face any type of war and still come out victoriously.

Prayer : Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your armor by which i am able to win every battle that i face in life; in Jesus Name, Amen!

One day a professor entered the classroom and asked his students to prepare for a surprise test. They waited anxiously at their desks for the test to begin. The professor handed out the question paper, with the text facing down as usual. Once he handed them all out, he asked his students to turn the page and begin. To everyone's surprise, there were no questions....just a black dot in the center of the page. The professor seeing the expression on everyone's face, told them the following: "I want you to write what you see there." The students confused, got started on the inexplicable task. At the end of the class, the professor took all the answer papers and started reading each one of them aloud in front of all the students. All of them with no exceptions, described the black dot, trying to explain its position in the middle of the sheet, etc. etc. etc. After all had been read, the classroom silent, the professor began to explain: "I am not going to grade you on this; I just wanted to give you something to think about. No one wrote about the white part of the paper. Everyone focused on the black dot - and the same happens in our lives. We have a white paper to observe and enjoy, but we always focus on the dark spots.
Our life is a gift given to us by the Almighty, and we always have reasons to celebrate - nature renewing itself everyday, our friends around us, the job that provides our livelihood, the miracles we see everyday.......
However we insist on focusing only on the dark spots - the health issues that bother us, the lack of money, the complicated relationship with a family member, the disappointment with a friend, a.s.o. The dark spots are very small compared to everything we have in our lives, but they are the ones that pollute our minds. Take your eyes away from the black spots in your life. Enjoy each one of your blessings, each moment that life gives you. Be happy and live a life filled with love.".
