THE ANOINTING IS NOT FOR PLEASURE
There was a man in the Bible who carried extraordinary power…
His name was Samson.
He was chosen before birth.
Set apart.
Anointed by God.
Yet his life tells a sobering truth:
👉 Anointing without discipline leads to destruction.
A CALLING COMPROMISED
Samson was not weak…
He was careless.
God gave him strength to defeat enemies,
But he used his life to chase pleasure.
> Wrong relationships
> Repeated compromise
> Ignoring God’s warnings
“She pressed him daily with her words… so that his soul was vexed to death.” (Judges 16:16)*
Little by little…
He gave away what God entrusted to him.
⚠️ THE DANGER OF SLOW COMPROMISE
Samson did not fall in one moment.
👉 He drifted.
Each compromise felt small…
Until it cost him everything.
“He did not know that the Lord had left him.” (Judges 16:20)*
That is the most dangerous place:
When you still move…
But the presence is gone.
💔 PLEASURE THAT COSTS PURPOSE
Samson traded:
Calling → for comfort
Strength → for satisfaction
Destiny → for desire
Not everything that feels good is God.
Not every open door is divine.
✨ THE MERCY OF GOD
Even in failure… God is merciful.
📖 “O Lord God, remember me, I pray… strengthen me just this once.” (Judges 16:28)*
In his final moment…
God restored his strength.
But hear this:
God can restore you…
👉 But some consequences remain.
FINAL TRUTH
Your anointing is not for entertainment…
👉 It is for assignment.
Guard it.
Protect it.
Honor it.
