Isaiah 58:1
(GNB) The Lord says, “Shout as loud as you can! Tell my people Israel about their sins!:2 They worship me every day, claiming that they are eager to know my ways and obey my laws. They say they want me to give them just laws and that they take pleasure in worshipping me.”:3 The people ask, “Why should we fast if the Lord never notices? Why should we go without food if he pays no attention?”The Lord says to them, “The truth is that at the same time as you fast, you pursue your own interests and oppress your workers. :4 Your fasting makes you violent, and you quarrel and fight. Do you think this kind of fasting will make me listen to your prayers? :5 When you fast, you make yourselves suffer; you bow your heads low like a blade of grass, and spread out sackcloth and ashes to lie on. Is that what you call fasting? Do you think I will be pleased with that?:6 The kind of fasting I want is this: remove the chains of oppression and the yoke of injustice, and let the oppressed go free.

pleasing the heart of God is not just by words but also doing.
Doing and say are two different things however when used together results are guaranteed,teach yourself to achieve your goals no matter how struggles occur,flesh has a way of dominating if one is not careful enough...pray and fast so that your spirit if edified to nullify the flesh.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today knowing that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness.

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. I turn away from my old life and turn toward You. Please forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new.

Today, I surrender my life to You. I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart and take control of my life.
Help me to follow You, obey Your Word, and live a life that brings glory to Your name. Give me strength when I am weak, wisdom when I am confused, and grace to keep going when I fall.

Revelation:
Faith is easy when prayers are answered quickly, doors are opening and everything seems to be falling into place. But reality of your faith is revealed when you are waiting, when what God is doing is not clear and when your heart carries more questions than answers. The scripture of the day reminds us that our faith is refined through trials and not comfort. Contrary to what the enemy whispers during the storm, God is not trying to break you through difficult seasons - no! Rather He is using what the enemy meant for evil to strengthen your faith. The presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God. Sometimes the place where we feel weakest becomes the place where we experience God the most. When your faith is strengthened, it is your faith that will sustain and carry you out of the storm.

We need not only vows and affirmations to keep moving forward as married people but sacrifice and endurance in both times when things are perfectly well and not well.
