1John 3 v 4. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness and sin is lawlessness.

WHAT IS SIN?

sin is unrighteousness and it is not pleasing to God. We are considered sinful when we don't believe that Jesus christ of Nazareth is Lord. This would mean that sin is disbelief in the son of God because outside the word man's whole being that is heart, soul and body becomes against God.

Unbelief is the cause of inspiration behind a sinful life. The evidence of doubt is proven by the way of living that is not consistent with the will of God. The Holy spirit has come to show us that we are wrong about sin, such act of him is to help us acknowledge the separation between ourselves and God as the result of iniquity that we may repent and be reconciled with him. When you miss a mark don't run from God, run to him.

Romans 7 v 15-19. Apostle Paul quickly realized the need to run to God for a good relationship. He cried out to Jesus christ brought the balance. What is balance? The balance in this sense is the strength to overcome his weakness.

Prayer point : ohLord give me the grace to overcome my weakness in the name of Jesus christ amen.

Psalms 66 v 18 - 19. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer.

Making your request known to God does not validate them to receive an answer from him rather disregarding sin in your heart does when you pray. Entertaining iniquity nullify the power of prayer and brings misinterpretation to God's ability to cause change. What is this misinterpretation we are talking about? " God helps those who help themselves". We don't understand God that is why we do not know how he operates.

His strength becomes a daily requirement for our lives when we acknowledge that we have limited power to help ourselve. God's position can only participate were man fails or limited to do above his natural ability, therefore believing that God helps those who help themselves is outrageous nonsense.

Failing to know what could be the reason for your prayer of better life not to be answered then, is the cause of unrest in your heart because of that lingering problem before you whereas desperation to find out a way out to silence the noise in your heart could worsen what you thought was problematic. God in his infinite wisdom oftentimes use what seems to be a problem as a solution to the real problem.

Our weaknesses and limitations forms the basis of depending on God. Your challenges may be to strengthen your desire and determination for God, your hardship may be to keep you a while in order to prepare you for a new level in life, your affliction may be to reform and refine your character at last all is meant for your good.

We were all born into sin but a choice was provided to make a decision not to remain sinners for ever. When we believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, we are made free from the law of sin and death. Salvation is established in our hearts when we hear the word of God and embrace it by faith.

1corinthians 9v24. Surely you know that many runners take part in a race, but only one of them wins the prize, Run, then in such a way as to win the prize.

RUN FOR THE PRIZE.

The Bible relates the path of victory to a race. Life is indeed a big race and as in every race the beginner is not the owner but the finisher. Victory in christ Jesus is not for those who quit but for those who endure.

Life is a warfare only those who are serious minded are victorious. Before one can be awarded must have fought many battles to be titled a champion. We are all given equal opportunity to make our mark in the sense of time but not all of us are prepared for what it takes. A prescribed life of an athlete is that of service and sacrifice. You can not accommodate everything for the health of your life and still remain fit for the battle or race of life. To be victorious in all sense of life requires you to be allergic to the corrupting bait of satan. When focus is not broken by the vicissitudes of life a reward is guaranteed at the end. As a practicing Christian faith exists in three levels :knowledge of the truth ; acceptance of the truth and commitment to the truth. Ask Nicodemus and he will tell you that if you don't take time to find out the truth, you will never come to the revelation of the truth.

When we have no revelation about the truth we become unfit and unarmed before our opponents. Attemption to continue with the race or battle in such a state is a dangerous mission. We are to prepare ourselves prio to the match in the field of life until we are ready to face our competitors lest we lose the prize.

The weapon of the runner and the wrestler against the other side of life is temperance or self-control to obtain an imperishable crown.

Prayer: oh Lord Jesus christ let your word abide in me and strengthen my heart to face the race. Prepare me, oh Lord through your eternal word and give me the strength to endure till the end - in Jesus christ name.

Job 27v 1-6. I will maintain my righteousness and never let go of it ; my conscience will not reproach me as long as I live.

Nothing happens for nothing.

As a Christian when our trials or difficulties are getting hotter and tougher, we are getting closer to our freedom and breakthrough. The principle of life says that, nothing happens for nothing, nothing comes by chance. If you understand this principle you will always reflect on life itself rather than on the situation you are in. But those who do not understand the principle of life they will always complain about the unkindness of people around them or blame their unpleasant situations on others without a proper reflection on life itself. As a Christian you must understand that whatever happens to you is for a purpose. Today everybody desires breakthrough whereas disappointment most times serves to keep us for a new level in life. Mention any Biblical character or any clean and clear successful person and he will tell you how much pain, isolation, rejection, hatred and name-calling he had to endure before he could get to a new level in life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus christ give me the grace to see life the way you see it. In Jesus christ name amen.

Psalms 34v19. Afflictions are not meant for our destruction but for our good.

Problems are not problematic because they are not meant to make difficult rather they are meant to teach us how to deal with hard-times and understand life itself. There are two sides to life :good and bad which aims at factorising better conditions for human building psychologically and spiritually to advance the cause of his advantage. You are an advantage to God first then to this earth. When God manufacturers he is not wasteful, therefore this means that your life is not a wasted product but an asset he values the most. 1. To worship him. God being a high profile personality that exist without being created. A model of perfection and self-sufficiency saw it right for a person like you and me to be in a position to worship him. 2.To better improve and modify the usefulness of his creation through his inherent - characteristics in us to identify a need to solve a problem.

See challenges as your friend not your enemy because God oftentimes uses our problems to preserve us and to prepare us for a new level in life. He uses problems to reveal the best out of us. Every solution was born out of problems.

Matthew 5v 3 - 12. The process of the household of faith.

Many are seeking the glory of God but a question always remains how much prepared are you to keep his radiance shining. It is better not to aquire any thing from God until you are transformed. To be inwardly changed carries a potential force to maintain every good gift from the Lord. It is true that God is looking for vessels to fill-up. It is true that God is looking for instruments to use but mind you he is not desperate. Those who are genuinely called will do every proper thing to prepare themselves to be suitable for God's use. For this service to be a thing of reality process must be considered in order for the will of God to happen through us. Any time is not the right time, for us Christians God's time is the best. Learning to know that all is of grace will teach us how to manage our zeal until we are recreated.

Let us seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness all we long to possess shall be added. It is better not to achieve nothing than to achieve and lose it all.

Prayer point : Oh Lord change me to do your will in Jesus christ name amen.

Psalms 51 v1-5. Forgiveness is necessary for repentance.

God in his infinite mercy always he is ready to forgive where sin is acknowledged. When we admit that we have sinned and committed an error opportunity is granted to repent and live, But keeping sin because of love for unrighteousness produces a sense of lifeless in us. Realizing that sin quench the life of God awakens our heart to embrace righteousness and detest lawlessness. Sin is the cause of all human destruction. Right standing with God lifts us up above the realm of death into life. Salvation is a commitment to the life of righteousness. The way and manner we live and act determine how can we be affected either positively or negatively by life itself. No one can effectively witness christ unless his will overwhelm him. We can only react towards what we love to reject what we hate. Jesus in that book of Hebrews 1v9 he reacted towards his love for righteousness to reject what he hated the most l mean unrighteousness. There is no relationship between these two forces sin and righteousness. Choose wisely.

Prayer point : oh Lord take away a stoney heart and give me a heart of flesh and put a new spirit within me in the name of Jesus christ amen.

Good morning and win today

ISAIAH 6 V 1-10.

Knowing your calling does not license your assignment rather how ready are you to bear responsibility for the task. Preparation is when one is no longer considering himself to live but christ because the mission of the commission can only be executed through the word by the spirit.
Those who value their calling are forever prepared to undergo a purification process for the commission that lays ahead. Many are conscious of results than processing whereas the process is much more important than results. It is the process that produces intended outcome expected from God. What makes our heart desires to be a reality it is not a mere wishful thinking but the readiness of heart to do every proper thing, to process our earnest hope into materialization.

Prayer point : Heavenly father wash me inwardly to reflect your character in Jesus christ name amen.

Good morning and win today.

Isaiah 6 v 5 and 7.

If we are to be effective witnesses of christ we are to go through purification. If we don't go through purification process then jump into commission l mean assignment is a dangerous mission. We must not tempt the devil to tempt us. Holding the word of God in unrighteousness makes it ineffective. We become meaningless instruments in the sight of the enemy of our soul. Learning to know that the word is the standard of our lives puts us in a position to be usable for God's sake. In the book of Hebrews 1v9 Jesus christ our Lord loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. The spirit of God is released to the degree we stand in reverence to the word. The word requires our hearts to act in the word for the spirit of God to reveal his personality, character and virtues for the salvation of souls. To act with God one must be baptized with the holy spirit to bear witness of the light that all men through him might believe. The question is how genuine are you? One needs a free spirit to attract the spirit of God. A free spirit is a spirit that is free from hatred, unforgiveness, bad feelings towards anyone.

A great pillar of faith in our age and time has pass on to glory. A coach, a mentor, a father, a husband who lived a life worth emulating. One life he had for Jesus. He went doing what he was born for, lived for and died for. Right from his early age he knew that his life was to please the Lord. My father, my mentor, my coach rest in perfect peace you have fought the good fight and have won the battle and have run the race to the end. Thank you for all the teachings you have thought us to continue with the legacy you have left behind for generations yet unborn. EMMANUEL

When we focus on the mountain of Lord we shall never be moved. Whatever challenge we face is not our enemy but our friends as people of faith. It is through diverse challenges that we grow in our Christian walk. Challenges is the soul on which faith flourish. When we are faced with situations in life we should not think it strange and doubt our guide. It may be to strengthen our desire and determination for God.

Human ability is fallible , trying to use our strength to fight the battles of life is an attempt to be defeated. The standard of man's power gets exhausted to accumulate victory over the confrontations of life because of our weaknesses, such as impatience, doubt, fear and discouragement. Misunderstanding is the source in which offense is established in our heart. When we fail to comprehend that nothing can prevent offense from coming our way might have an impact that will affect our interaction with the holy spirit. It is only understanding that comes through the word of God that nullifies the effect of offense in our heart. Embracing the truth about God embodied in christ Jesus is the only way out from being imprisoned by offense. In this life nothing happens without the inspiration of the spirit of God or the spirit of the Satan. The role of man as a free - moral agent is to choose which side of the stick do they yield themselves to. The influence of these two entities can have effect in our lives based on the decisions we make.
