WORD | APOSTLE J MOYO

πŸ“– PRACTICAL FAITH IN ACTION
⚠️ Anytime you are not a doer of God's Word, you become merely a religious follower. True Christianity is not just hearing the Wordβ€”it is living it.
βœ… Obey God's Word, and you will prosper in His ways.
πŸ“– Ephesians 3:17 (NLT) "Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong."
❀️ When Christ fills your heart through His Word, His nature begins to flow through you naturally. Your life will become evidence of His presence.
πŸ‡ The Fruit of the Spirit πŸ“– Galatians 5:22–23 "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
✨ These fruits should be visible in the life of every believer who is rooted in Christ.
πŸ—£οΈ One thing that destroys our authority and testimony is careless speech: ❌ Bad language ❌ Lying ❌ Negative words
βœ… Let your words reflect the character of Christ.
πŸ‘‘ Be an obedient child of God and look back over your lifeβ€”you will see His faithfulness, guidance, and blessings every step of the way.

Prayer line was a powerful moment as lives were touched, burdens were lifted, and hearts were encouraged in the presence of God. We believe that every prayer made in faith was heard by the Lord, and testimonies shall surely follow. What a blessing it was to stand together in prayer and seek God’s face.

Declaration time was another powerful moment in the presence of God. As we declared the Word of God over our lives, families, and destinies, faith was stirred and hearts were strengthened. What a blessed and impactful Sunday service it was! We can’t wait to fellowship, worship, and experience God’s presence together again next Sunday.

WORD: APOSTLE J MOYO
πŸ“– TITLE: PRACTICAL FAITH
Bible Reference: James 2:14–19
✝️ When we talk about Christianity, we understand it at different levels. There is a significant difference between a churchgoer, a believer, and a child of God.
πŸ›οΈ A Churchgoer A churchgoer is someone who attends church regularly, participates in meetings and services, but is not necessarily a doer of God's Word.
🧠 A Believer A believer agrees with the truth of God's Word and accepts the facts about God. Their faith may remain at a mental or intellectual level.
πŸ‘‘ A Child of God A child of God not only believes God's Word but also lives according to it. They are doers of the Word and continually seek to learn, understand, and apply God's truth in their daily lives.
πŸ“Œ Always do and follow what God is saying.
πŸ”₯ Many Christians depend on revival meetings to rekindle their passion for God. While revival can refresh and strengthen our spirits, our faith should not depend solely on special events.
⚠️ There are many things that can replace genuine spiritual life. We must understand the difference between religious faith and spiritual faith.
🎭 Religious Faith Religious faith believes in God when things are going well. However, when difficulties arise, it questions God's presence and faithfulness. It is often based on feelings and emotions rather than on God's Word.
🌱 Spiritual Faith Spiritual faith remains steadfast regardless of circumstances. It is rooted in God's promises and trusts Him even in the midst of challenges. Spiritual faith continues believing when there is no visible evidence.
🌊 Faith in God's Word cannot be controlled by circumstances. It is stepping onto the water, trusting that God will sustain you.
❗ Many people claim to have faith, but their actions tell a different story. True faith is always demonstrated through action.
βœ… When you believe, there must be evidence of your faith. Our actions are an expression of what we truly believe.
πŸ’ God focuses on what you give, not merely on what you have. An expression of faith is being willing to give, even from the little you possess.
🚢 Obedience to God's Word is what keeps you moving forward in your spiritual journey. When you remain only on the receiving side, you can become dependent on others. However, when you begin to give and serve, you grow and discover the true meaning of giving and receiving.
πŸ“š Whenever you receive and apply God's Word, you are filled with spiritual wisdom and understanding.
⏳ One moment of obedience can produce a lifetime breakthrough.
πŸ™Œ When you choose to obey God's Word, even in times of lack, God remains faithful to provide for your needs.
πŸ’– Always obey God's Word.
🀝 Be faithful to God's Word, and He will be faithful to His promises.

"Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." β€” James 2:17

What a blessed and unforgettable Sunday Service! πŸ™Œβœ¨

Today, our Sunday School children ministered powerfully through a beautiful and inspiring drama presentation of The Good Samaritan. Their outstanding performance brought the Scriptures to life, reminding us all of the importance of showing love, kindness, mercy, and compassion to everyone around us, regardless of their background or circumstances.

As they acted out the story, the congregation was encouraged and challenged to reflect the heart of Christ by becoming true neighbors to those in need. It was wonderful to see the young generation confidently sharing God's Word and demonstrating that they, too, are vessels God can use to impact lives and spread His message of love.

We thank God for a service filled with His presence, joy, learning, and spiritual growth. May the lessons from today's presentation remain in our hearts and inspire us to walk daily in love and compassion toward others.

"Love your neighbor as yourself." β€” Mark 12:31

May God continue to bless, guide, and strengthen our children as they grow in wisdom, faith, and the knowledge of His Word. β€οΈπŸ™

What a glorious Sunday Service! πŸ™ŒπŸŽ‰

Our Sunday School children danced with joy and gladness before the Lord, filling the house of God with praise, excitement, and pure worship. Their beautiful celebration reminded us that every generation has a place in God's kingdom and can glorify His name with all their hearts. πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ίβœ¨

"Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." β€” Matthew 19:14

We thank God for a service filled with His presence, joy, and the sound of victory. May these young ones continue to grow in wisdom, favor, and the knowledge of the Lord. β€οΈπŸ™

SISTER WENDY : GIVING
πŸ“– Bible Reference: 2 Corinthians 9:6–12
🌱 "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." (2 Corinthians 9:6)
This passage reminds us that giving is not merely about the amount we offer, but about the attitude of our hearts. God is concerned with our motives when we give.
❀️ We do not give out of obligation or pressure, but according to what we have decided in our hearts. When we give willingly and cheerfully, our offering becomes pleasing to God.
πŸ™Œ When we give from the heart and not under compulsion, God receives our gift, and in return, He blesses us abundantly according to His grace.
🌾 We must remember that everything we have comes from God. He is the One who provides the seed to the sower and continually blesses us with resources so that we can be a blessing to others.
πŸ’– God prospers us and supplies us generously, not only for our needs but also so that we may continue to give and support His work.
πŸ‘‘ Giving is an act of worship and honour to God. When we give faithfully, we acknowledge Him as our Provider and demonstrate our gratitude for His goodness.
πŸ™ May we always give with willing hearts, trusting God to use our gifts for His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom

INTERCESSION PRAYERS
Prayer of Repentance and Cleansing
Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves before You and ask for Your mercy and forgiveness. Cleanse our hearts from all unrighteousness and create in us clean hearts that are pleasing before You.
Scripture: Psalm 51:10 – "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
Prayer for the Guidance of the Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit, take full control of our lives and of today's service. Lead, direct, and move freely among us. May everything that is done bring glory and honor to the name of Jesus Christ.
Scripture: John 14:26 – "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things."
Prayer for Unity in the Church
We pray for unity in every department of the church. Let love, understanding, and cooperation prevail among all members as we work together for the advancement of God's Kingdom.
Scripture: Psalm 133:1 – "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
Prayer for Oneness in Leadership
The Church of Jesus Christ is not independent but interdependent, relying completely on God. We pray for oneness, wisdom, and harmony among the leadership of LIC. May they be united in purpose and vision as they serve the Lord.
Scripture: Ephesians 4:3 – "Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Prayer for the Visionary and Spiritual Father
As instructed in Ephesians 6:19–20, we lift up our father, Apostle J. Moyo, before the Lord. We pray for divine protection, strength, wisdom, and fresh anointing upon his life. May God preserve his spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being, and grant him peace in all circumstances.
Scripture: Ephesians 6:19–20 – "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel..."
Prayer for God's Presence and Guidance
May God continue to dwell in our hearts and lead us in every area of our lives. May His Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path as we walk in His will.
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5–6 – "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
