Our Kids Bible Vacation Day (organized by our Little Lamps program) was a beautiful and meaningful celebration centered on the Easter story. The theme for the day, “God Keeps His Promises,” guided every activity and helped the children understand how God’s promises are fulfilled through Jesus.
The children were divided into five groups and rotated through different stations, each one focusing on an important part of the Easter story. This structure allowed them to experience the message in an interactive and engaging way.
At the first station, “The Promised King,” the children learned about Palm Sunday and how Jesus entered Jerusalem as the King who had been promised long before.
The second station, “The Passover Lamb,” focused on the Last Supper. Here, the children discovered how Jesus shared a special meal with His disciples and how He became the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world, fulfilling God’s promise of salvation.
At the third station, “The Suffering Servant,” the children reflected on Jesus’ death on the cross. This was a powerful moment where they learned about sacrifice, love, and the depth of God’s commitment to His people.
The fourth station, “New Life,” brought the joyful message of Easter. The children celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and learned that God’s promises bring hope, new beginnings, and life.
In addition to the teaching stations, the children also participated in a creative craft activity where they made their own resurrection gardens. This hands-on activity helped them visualize the Easter story and served as a meaningful reminder of the empty tomb and the new life we have in Christ.
It was truly a special day, and we are grateful for everyone who helped make it possible and for the opportunity to teach our children that God truly keeps His promises.
