“We exhort, we encourage, we uplift, we uphold His Holy Word so that others may believe”.
“Now Joshua was old and advanced in years, and the Lord said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to possess.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬ ‭.
Greetings my dear friends, this is a Word of Encouragement to all, myself included, who think that we are old and now retired from secular work that we should simply stop doing what we should be doing; and that is doing great exploits both in the Kingdom of God, as well in the secular zone.
Come brothers and sisters let’s get off of the rocking chair and do it for God and your family.
Although, “You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to possess.”
God is saying to you, “And the Lord said to me, ‘Arise, go on your journey at the head of the people, so that they may go in and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers to give them.’”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10‬:‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬.

Now Joshua was old and advanced in years, and the LORD said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to possess.

“Living In the Moment”.
We exhort, we encourage, we uplift, we uphold His Holy Word so that others may believe.
"Our Lord Yehusha (The Hebrew Name of Jesus) wants His followers to “live in the moment”. I heard the Holy Spirit lead me in this direction many, many years ago. I ventured on this path and was so blessed. I will share one of many such moments.
Firstly let me explain what it means “To live in the moment", it means being fully present and engaged in a current positive experience.
As Child of God, it’s about being finely tuned into a moment in which the Holy Spirit leads you to act upon an instruction He gives you.
As a Child God, It's a mindset that encourages you to appreciate the joys of obedience to God and in so doing find peace in this present life and live life and your Christian experience to the fullest! A life of no regrets.
Let me share a “living in the moment”experience from Scripture.

“One afternoon Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those entering the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked directly at him, as did John. “Look at us!” said Peter. So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and at once the man’s feet and ankles were made strong. He sprang to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and leaping and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.”

“We Exhort, We Uplift and Encourage the Saints of God. We Uphold His Holy Word, all of this so that others may Join in the Ranks in Christ our Lord and Savior Yehusha”.
Greetings to one and all. Please take time and count the number of Distinguishing character Qualities God requires of people who are true Ambassadors of Christ. I counted over 30. Wow! Beloveds of Christ, how do we all measure up to highest Moral Standards synonymous to our Faith, of any so called religion found in this world system.
Please take your time with this, after all it’s strictly Holy Scripture. Hey! Pastor, Maybe this can be a Preaching/ Teaching theme for the next year or so 🫢
“True Character Traits of a True Christian”.
“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬-‭21‬ ‭ESV‬‬.

We exhort, uplift and encourage others to Serve fervently so that others might believe.
“The High Calling of Young Elisha”.The Bible story of Elijah and Elisha is found in both books of Kings from the Old Testament. They are two of the most notable prophets from scripture helping to restore Israel in a time of wicked rulers.
However the subject of my article is to demonstrate what Elisha’s great commitment to his High Calling was.
Each and every Christian is called by God to follow him fervently, let alone those called to the Five fold Ministries.
Our Christianity should never be fluffy, which means frivolous/ lacking depth or not taken seriously. This kind of Service will never be acceptable or taken seriously by The Holy Lord Jesus. Please change if this is your way of Service.
We observe, in this passage of Scripture the Character of both Elijah and Elisha.
A powerful passage from the Bible about the High Calling of God. This is the call of Elisha, where the prophet Elijah, sent by God to choose Elisha to succeed him as a prophet. Here's a breakdown:
- Elijah, instructed by God, finds Elisha plowing his family's fields (1 Kings 19:19).
- Elijah symbolically passes on his prophetic mantle by casting it on Elisha (1 Kings 19:19).
- Elisha asks to bid farewell to his family before following Elijah (1 Kings 19:20).
- Elijah tells Elisha to return, implying that Elisha should consider the gravity of his decision (1 Kings 19:20).
- Elisha slaughters his oxen, cooks them, and feeds the people, symbolizing his complete break with his past life (1 Kings 19:21).
- Finally, Elisha follows Elijah, becoming his loyal servant and eventual successor (1 Kings 19:21).
This passage highlights Elisha's willingness to leave his old life behind and embrace his new calling as a prophet.
Elisha destroys all forms of his former Occupation, thus leaving no temptation to return to it. It also shows Elijah's role as a father in mentoring and preparing Elisha for his future responsibilities.
In Elisha's call, the love aspect can be seen in:
1. *Elijah's mentorship*: Elijah, as a seasoned prophet, takes Elisha under his wing, guiding and preparing him for his future role. This mentorship demonstrates Elijah's love and concern for Elisha's growth and development.
2. *Elisha's devotion*: Elisha's willingness to leave his family and livelihood behind, and his eagerness to follow Elijah, show his devotion and love for the prophetic calling and the God who called him.
3. *The symbolic mantle*: Elijah's mantle, which he passes on to Elisha, represents the transfer of spiritual authority and responsibility. This act symbolizes Elijah's love and trust in Elisha, entrusting him with the prophetic legacy.
4. *God's sovereign choice*: God's selection of Elisha, a young farmer, to become a prophet, demonstrates God's love and grace. God sees potential in Elisha and chooses him for a greater purpose, showing His love and care for Elisha's life.
These aspects of love and devotion in Elisha's call highlight the importance of relationships, mentorship, and surrender to God's will, all of which are rooted in love.

“We Exhort, we Uplift, We Motivate the Believer in Christ Jesus and so that others may believe”….
Greetings all my friends in the Family of Faith. Read Psalm 27 and receive a boost in your faith and trust in “Abba Father”, an Aramaic word which means Daddy. Yes God is a Daddy to all who know Him intimately.
This Psalm of King David expresses a very powerful and profound Godly devotion he had towards God. With his gracious Soul, and so can any gracious , faith abiding and God fearing Believer, be carried by and toward God our Father. In times of trouble and peril this is our answer to peace within ourselves.
As well here we see David:
1. Displays holy bravery and the courage of his faith.
2. His dedication and delight he had in fellowship with God.
3. The benefits received from God his Father. Namely favor and grace.
4. We observe as well his genuine desire for Him.
5. His expectations from God, because of his awesome faith in God.
6. As well King David encourages all to hope and trust in our Heavenly Father. I can almost hear him saying, “I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness in my life, my family, my friends, my occupation, my Country Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God.”

I’ve made this Pslam of King David part of my daily Prayer and Devotion. Wow! It’s amazing how much it has boosted my confidence and faith in Christ Jesus. Try it you Darlings of God. It will change so much in your Christian Walk. You will need literally 5 minutes to read this and it is a great investment in your Faith life.
I’ve used the Message Version as this is simple & easy to understand. It’s a paraphrase.
Psalm 27. “Light, space, zest— that’s God! So, with him on my side I’m fearless, afraid of no one and nothing. When vandal hordes ride down ready to eat me alive, Those bullies and toughs fall flat on their faces. When besieged, I’m calm as a baby. When all hell breaks loose, I’m collected and cool. I’m asking God for one thing, only one thing: To live with him in his house my whole life long. I’ll contemplate his beauty; I’ll study at his feet. That’s the only quiet, secure place in a noisy world, The perfect getaway, far from the buzz of traffic. God holds me head and shoulders above all who try to pull me down. I’m headed for his place to offer anthems that will raise the roof! Already I’m singing God-songs; I’m making music to God. Listen, God, I’m calling at the top of my lungs: “Be good to me! Answer me!” When my heart whispered, “Seek God,” my whole being replied, “I’m seeking him!” Don’t hide from me now! You’ve always been right there for me; don’t turn your back on me now. Don’t throw me out, don’t abandon me; you’ve always kept the door open. My father and mother walked out and left me, but God took me in. Point me down your highway, God; direct me along a well-lighted street; show my enemies whose side you’re on. Don’t throw me to the dogs, those liars who are out to get me, filling the air with their threats. I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God.“
