My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty. Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them, Daniel 10 vrs 12 NlV.

The word revelation is God showing hidden truth.Living unaware of your future is not God's plan for a believer. One of the roles of the Holy Spirit is to reveal things to come, so certain events should not catch us off guard. Just as Daniel prayed and fasted for 21 days, seeking understanding and trusting God's Word, we too must seek divine revelation.
