ARE THESE GUILTY FEELINGS FROM YOU?....

Lord, I know that I cannot live up to the standard of your law. When I am righteous, it will not be a result of my own achievements, but through the faith in you are disciplining me because you love me.

Like Paul, I want to live in such a way that there is nothing of which my conscience can accuse me. I cannot earn your righteousness based on my performance. You will reveal that which is hidden in the dark and you will expose the intentions of the heart. I will welcome the caution of your word and your spirit.

Protect me from the false guilty feelings that I bring over myself or that other people project onto ME and help me when enermy Satan, who called " the accuser of our brothers".. Falsely accuse me.

Obedience Step by Step

Now it come to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, "Abraham" and he said "Here i am". Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Issac whom you love and go to the the land of Moriab, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which i shall tell you"
GENESIS 22:1-1

Our difficulty is not that we dont know God's will. Our discomfort comes from the fact that we do know His will but we do not want to do it.

When God first spoke to Abraham, His commands were straightforward." Go to a land i will show you" (Genesis12:1). Then God led Abraham through a number of tests over the years. Abraham learned patience as He waited on God's promise of a son,which took twenty-five years to be fulfilled. Abraham learned to trust God through battles with kings and through the destruction of S***m and Gomorrah. The pinnacle of Abraham's walk of faith was when God asked him to sacrifice the one thing that meant more to him than anything else. Abraham's previous obedience indicated that he would have quickly and decisively sacrificed anything else God asking of him, but was he prepared for this? God did not ask Abraham to make such significant sacrifice at the beginning of their relationship. This came more than thirty years after Abraham began walking with God.

As the Father progressively reveals His way to you in your Christian pilgrimage, you like Abraham, will develop deeper level of trust in Him. When you first became a Christian your Master's instructions were probably fundamental such as being baptized or changing your lifestyle. But as u learn to trust Him more deeply, He will develop your character to match bigger test and with the greater test will come a greater love for God snd knowledge of His ways. Are you ready for God's next revelation?

Hold Fast
Test all things...hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil

1THESSALONIANS 5:21-22

Hols fast to what is good, or the world will take it away. Satan is the relentless enemy of good. When he saw that what God gave Adam and Eve was good,he set about to take it away from them. When he saw that King David was pleasing to God, he attempted to destroy David's relationship with God. Never take the good in life for granted, if you do not hold on to it firmly it may be lost.
People will challenge the good that you are practising. They are criticize you for your moral stand, your child rearing, your use of money or your involvement in church. Time pressure will attack the good in your life. Your time to pray, study scripture, be with your family and serve in your church will all be pressured by the many other time demands your face. You may give generously to your church and other Christian causes, but you will be tempted to spend your money selfishly and minimize the good you are doing with your finances.
Scripture reveals the solution for holding on to what is good abstain from every form of evil. Evil robs you of what God intends for you. A spouse and a family are greater are blessings, but evil of adultery can rob you from good that God has given. Prayer is a wonderful gift from God. Yet sin robs you a power of prayer (Isaiah 1: 15). If you not abstain from evil, it will rob you good things God has given. God's commandments do not restrict you they will free you to experience God's best. Diligently abstain from every form of evil and you will be free to enjoy every good things God has for you.

GOD IS LOOKING FOR INTERCESSORS

So i sought for a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land that i should not destroy it, but found no one.

EZEKIEL 22:30

God looks for those who hearts are prepared be intercessors before him. Intercessors have heart in tune with God's heart. They are so acutely aware of what is at stake for their land, that they will stay before God as long as necessary in order to obtain God's answer , thats is why you do not volunteer to be intercessor. God enlists you.

Why do we not intercede as we should? Perhaps we are afraid to put God to the test. We worry that God might not answer our prayers, yet God promises that if we ask we shall receive (Matthew 7:7).

We fail to intercede because we believe the busyness of our everyday lives is more effective than prayer. Jesus warned that apart from him we can do nothing(John 15:5).
Without being intimately acquainted with God and his will all of our labors are futile, perhaps we fail to intercede because we misunderstand the heart of God. Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem as he interceded for it (Matthew 23:37). If we truly love God's love within us we feel compelled to plead with God on behalf of those who face his imminent judgment.

Intercession is a lonely business. There may be many days or even years when there appear to be few results for labor n yet intercessors can be the only ones standing between a family and God's judgment or between and individual or nation and God's wrath.

LIFE WITH THE SHEPHERD

The Lord is my shepherd, i shall not want.He makes me lie down in the green pastures. He leads me besides the still waters

PSALM 23:1-2

Living like a sheep can bring u incredible peace of mind!.Sheperd understood what foods were best for them and when they needed their thirst quenched. As long as the sheep trusted and followed their shepherd, they would give them the best that he had.

Do you have absolute trust in ur God Shepherd? Do you value the nourishment that comes from Hom more than any you might obtain from the world? Do you ever worry that God might be withholding from you something that you need? The psalmist was convinced that he would "want" for nothing. By his very nature the Good Shepherd cares for His sheep and would lay down His life for them (John 10:11)

Have you allowed your focus to shift from Shepherd to what the Shepherd gives you?. If u find your self "wanting", it is not that your Shepherd is unable or unwilling to perfectly meet your needs. It may be that you lack the faith to receive all that He has to give.

Return to Him and trust Him to meet the needs in ur life that only He can.

RESTORATION FROM THE SHEPHERD

He restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake.
PSALM 23:3

Your Shepherd knows every need. He knows you will grow weary in your pilgrimage with him. He knows there are times when you need rest, at times need to lie in lush meadows or beside quiet streams n sometimes you need to be held by your Shepherd. At other times you need to enjoy the pleasure the Shepherd provides.

As you follow your Shepherd there will be times when your soul becomes exhausted, perhaps because of trials you are experiencing or temptations are resisting. The persecution you face or the burden you are carrying for others may be wearing you down, you may be weary from the discipline the Shepherd has brought upon you. There will be times you feel you can go no further in Christian pilgrimage, your Shepherd knows when you have reached this point and He always has remedy. There are many ways He can strengthen you through His word, through others or through your circumstances. He knows what you need even better than you do.

Have you grown weary? Does your soul need to be refreshed? Don't attempt to recover on your own, only God knows how to heal and rejuvenate a soul ( Isaiah 40:28-31...Matthew 11:28-30)..He will do it perfectly, sometimes in surprising ways.

Ask him to restore you and then be prepared to respond to what He does next.

COMFORT FROM THE SHEPHERD

Yea,though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and stafg they comfort me.

PSALM 23:4

As a child of God you are never alone! Your Shepherd is with you at all times. You never have to fear that if things become too difficult, He will abondon you. He goes before you n He walks besides you n He comes behind you.
He always keeps His eyes upon you. He comforts you with His strong presence in times of sorrow and grief.

He leads you through the valley of death. He does not necessarily lead you around the valley as you might wish. There are times when your Shepherd knows that the only way to get you where He wants to take you is to lead you down the path that passes through the dark valley. Yet those times He walks closely with you, reassuring you throughout the journey tht He still loves you and is with you. It is during those times that you experiencing His love and compassion in a deeper dimension than you ever have before.

You never need to fear evil as intimidating as evil can be, there is nothing you will ever face that intimidates your Shepherd. He has seen it all and soundly defeated every form of wickedness. Evil never catches His by surprise. Your Shepherd is always prepared and knows exactly when and where you will experience difficulty

Place your absolute trust in ur Good Shepherd that He will protect you and demonstrate His love for you through the darkest valley
