I woke this morning with a deap sense of the unfathomable sacrifice that Jesus made for us and the reminder of one of His favorite disciple, Peter's willingness to follow Him to the cross.
But the reality of the situation was, he denied Jesus, dispite his relationship and dedication to The Lord.
Can you even imagine been in his sandals this day so many years ago?
I ask myself....what would I do in the reality of the sacrifice and feel a sense of peace, knowing that Jesus is so incredible, He knows before I make a decision what I'm going to choose, yet He still chooses me.

As we contemplate the enormity of Jesus sacrifice for us today.
Be in awe
Be in love
Have peace
Have the assurance that He has done it all for you.
When you have to make life and death choices, put Him in the forefront of your thoughts and trust Him to lead you and guide in life.
If you stumble, He will catch you and lift you up, if you allow Him to.

He has not sacrificed His life, for you to remain in guilt and shame for the decision that you have made in the past.
Remember, He lifted Peter up and built His church on him, dispite his denial of knowing Him.

I pray you spend your weekend in reverent awe of Jesus for what He has done for you and does for you daily.

Why is hell so awful? One, it was created for satan and his demons. Secondly, because people don’t realize that hell is the absence of God.

There’s no air in hell...because God is a breath of life.
There is no peace in hell...because God is the prince of peace. There is no comfort in hell...because God is the comforter.
There is no love in hell...because God is love.
Hell is darkness...because God is the light.

You don't have to go there!

But there is only one way to escape it, and that is through salvation in the name of Jesus Christ.

Instead of playing defense with harmful thoughts that come your way, take action and deliberately place helpful thoughts to change the narrative of your mind.

A great way to go on offense with your thought life is to grab hold of one of these Scriptural truths each day of the week:

Monday: My God knows my name. (Isaiah 43:1)
Tuesday: My God goes before me. (Isaiah 42:12)
Wednesday: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Thursday: My present suffering pales in comparison to my future glory. (Romans 8:18)
Friday: No weapon formed against me will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)
Saturday: I am a child of God. (Romans 8:16)
Sunday: The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me. (Ephesians 1:18–20)

Think about these things. Carry them with you through each day. Don’t stop telling yourself these truths until you fall asleep at night.

"God is in this story" was a song ringing through my mind as I sat waiting to appear in court yesterday with a strange peace that surpassed all understanding. Even though I knew what I was facing was a very serious matter, I knew God was in this story.

Goodness, God really wrote this story His way and the verdict was beyond anything anyone expected and the State Prosecutor declined to prosecute and dropped the charges of Negligent loss of a firearm.

All honour and Glory to our Mighty God, Creator of Heaven and Earth!

This last week of 2022 has been one of reflection and while pressing in in the surrounds of the beautiful farm in the mountains, the one vision that was constant, was the an enormous tree.
A tree can never be that mature or healthy without the right conditions and environment.
This then took me into The Word where I ended in Psalm 1.
I truly pray for each of you to Abide in The Vine and grow into Trees of Righteousness with your roots deeply planted into The Giver of Life, God, the creator of heaven and earth this new year 2023.

It truly has been a heartbreaking few weeks for so many people around me, including myself. Yes, even I me.
But the realization that God is cleaning house around us, brings with it a peace and strength to let go and know that He has something so much better for us.
Don't dwell in the loss or betrayal, but rather grab God's Mighty Right Hand, heal and learn from your experience.

If you need a coffee, a chat or just a safe place to let it all out, my door is always open and it's quick to get the kettle going!

Who we are and what our worth as a human is, is not determined by man's assumption or opinion of us, but rather who God created us to be and who He says we are.
When we accept this by receiving Him as our Lord and saviour, our character, worth and identity is firmly set on our Creator.

Even for David, the voice of God in those plunging waters spoke volumes to him. As on those mountains, so was his own soul with such deep gorges of pain. How that in the deep abyss of his soul was crying out to the God of his life that was his only help.

Deep called to the deep!

Child of God, I speak to you as you sit among the dark clouds. Just listen! It is the waterfalls of the Lord roaring down over you. Immense, Powerful, Beautiful! The deep is calling to the deep! Where answers don't come easily! Where pain is exposed rather than covered. Where your healing requires transformation.

I speak over each of you right now that Gods waves are touching, transforming, and meeting you right where you are. Gods DNA is coming alive in you. You are stepping into that realm of nothing is impossible!

What a beautiful start to the morning!
I praise You Father for Your Creation.

The storm and the business of life was weighing me down and the winds raged with a gale force of such speed, I honestly did not know how I was going to stand up through it all.
BUT GOD, He was and is there, He was and is listening to our cry in the deepest resesses of our soul.
He reached down with His righteous right hand and began to answer deep cries of travailing prayer one by one without me even seeing what He was up to.

Then He cleared my eyes and said: "look at what I have done"
WOW....
Major prayers answered in the past few weeks.
Bringing with them changes, closing doors and opening door into a new season of expectation that goes beyond what I was asking for.

Never, never give up.... Pray at all times, especially when you feel you can't.
Worship Him in the darkest storm, even though you can't hear anything except the raging wind of your mind

He is there for you all the time.
Each storm and each answered pray becomes a testimony and a life line for someone else facing their own storms.

Shabbat Shalom.
It's been a very busy time for me, but so blessed by God's love, mercy and grace.
Despite the crazy pace that the days have been flying by.... He is so faithful to always be available when I take a moment in time to focus on Him!
There are so many of us struggling to find answers, peace and direction, so I want to encourage you to take a moment out of the craziness of our lives to focus your heart on God, take your eyes off of what our family, friends, work and society expect of us and see what God has for you.
I can promise you, that when you seak Him, you will find Him and you will also find the love you long for and in that, the purpose of life in God.
